My bed was not ready. I arrived next day, because my flight to arrived next day, I wrote this information when I booked, however I couldn't do check in. Another guest helped me to use a random bed. Wasn't host.

Bathroom it's good. The guest were kind.

It had a dirty and fishy smell. it’s as thought the pillow hadn’t been changed or the mattress was dirty. I had to put perfume on my pillow to feel comfortable. The smell really hit me the morning of departure when I came back from the bathroom into the dormitory. I stood at the side of my bed and I was heaving, I thought I was going to be sick but then gained control. It was horrid.

There was nothing to like. I was thinking of going somewhere else to stay. well it did have lockers and a locked door to the dormitories.

The room on the picture not the actual one. Dirty, people talking in sleeping room all night long (at least till 1am), showers are common for men's and women's. There is only administration table so you don't have place to eat.

the room had a very bad smell and all the beds rattled when people tried to move, they do some type of maintenance to the beds, it is impossible to sleep with all that noise they generate.

The location is very near to historical center

I had no illusions as it was only a stopover, having arrived Malaga just 2 hours prior to checking in. A 6-bed dorm (3 bunks). I was top bunk. Hit the sack maybe 1AM. As I climbed up towards my top bunk, I noticed considerable instability in the metal framework of the bunk itself. I only weigh 70kg - but jings it nearly toppled over. I crept carefully to my sleeping position, waking a couple of others who were already asleep (or so I thought). Then I realised - they couldn't possibly have been asleep. This is because the dorm is adjacent to the local pub, and you can literally hear every single cough, splutter, fart, slurp from each and every patron. Turns out that it is the loudest place in Malaga in the early hours. Okay I thought. Malaga pubs close at 2AM - it will go quiet then. How wrong I was though. At 2AM it got ever louder. Then about 2:30 AM there was a bit of a fracas outside the bar. It ended with the sound of a toilet seat getting smashed over some guy's head. What they were doing running about armed with toilet seats at 2:30AM I'll never know. It went quiet about 02:45. Then this guy started snoring. And he didn't stop until about 7AM. I got 90 minutes sleep, at best. Wouldn't change this experience for the world though!

Great Staff. Clean also. It's never going to be the Ritz - but I have to say I put my head on a clean sheet that was clearly laundered that very morning.

Bed sheets were not changed! I saw several people check out and in without sheets being changed in between. The room smelled terrible. It was a 10-bed room with all male guests and it smelled like sweat and deodorant. I was hoping to meet some other travellers, but the other guests were all way older and working while staying in this hostel. Also a lot of Inconsiderateness regarding lights/ talking/ watching videos without headphones when I was sleeping. Small bathroom space (2 toilets, 4 showers of which one wasn't working for 16 guests).

Definitely a good location, staff was nice and it was the cheapest hostel in Malaga when I booked.
