Damaged showers (with mildew), often missing toilet paper or soap. No lockers There were two doors in my room, apart from the entry one, that were always closed from my side. The doors looked like leading to another room and I heard people from the other side. No idea if they could actually go inside.

Only thing to keep in mind is you can not check in before 2pm and keep your luggage but after check out they provide luggage storage until 10pm. So be careful about your check in schedule.

The Hostel is very nice and calm. Comfy bed, open roof top to sit and relax, shower and toilet inside dorm, supermarket is infront of hostel. All tourist location are walkable. Vey understanding staff and big shared kitchen.

Hello. I want moy money back. The hostel  in Alicante (spain) " Chameleon Youth"  stoled my money and did not respond till now. I payed a chash. Ot is crime. They take a money 11.12.2023 around 21.30 pm. They didnt give me any bill. Just a key. And  at 13.12.2023 after 4 pm they stol a moneu from my bank. Probablu they do this crimw to another people as well. Please " boocking" make something with it.

They did not give us any information about anything about how the structure worked (use of electronic keys, how to find your room, how to get a lock for the locker...), so we had to figure it all out on our own. On sunday morning, the reception and all the public spaces are closed. The access door to the structure was malfunctioning, so during the night anyone (literally) could enter the structure, even if they didn't have an electronic key. The bathroom and the shower were "not very clean" and there was a continuous noise of flowing water during the night. Between saturday night and sunday morning, we were not able to use the sink, the shower or even the toilet because the water was not flowing.

They make it very simple to access the structure (you just need you electronic key), you can check out on your own, the bed was quite comfortable. We had a problem with the payment and they solved it quickly. They have free wifi, even if it doesn't work well at all times.

We came there, got a different room than booked. Me and my friend (both 20) got into a room with a 50 year old woman (who had booked a female only room) and a maybe same aged man (50). After the woman got somehow moved, the other guy was just really creepy and was really strange the whole night. The bed lines seemed washed, but nearly all had stains of some kind (we got one exchanged where we thought it could be blood). The showers are full of black mold. The second night we moved rooms, because some more friends arrived. Here were the same problems with the cleaniness and the shower. At least our friendgroup had a room for our self (a room for 6, with a bed for our 7. person on the middle of the corridor so you couldn't pass without climing over the bed.

The bathroom had mold growing around the door and in the shower. The hostel was not clean, smelt of mold and in an average area. Was not a traveller hostel vibe, moreso cheap but poor accommodation.

NO ACCESS to my room at first, mixed up code to the keycard. Other guests was LOCKED OUT from their room, keycard didn't work, reception closed, phone number didn't work. I was INLOCKED in the shower. The door was really hard to close since the wood was swollen due to moisture and no ventilation. During the shower the wood expanded even more and I wasn't able to open the door, I pushed with my whole body without getting out. Luckily (for me) the other couple was still outlocked and in the corridor. MOLD in the showerroom, espacially in the ceiling. NO SOAP in the toilet, you have to pay extra. Lamps turned off, sensors timer to short, so you didn't get down the whole staircase. TOTALLY DARK half the way - bring mobile if you don't want to fall. Common area AND kitchen closes 10 pm, so you don't have access to your food or water. I wanted to fill my bottle with water but wasn't allowed since she was closing. It should be open, according to information in the elevator, 8.30am-10pm and according to another informationen in the hostel 8.30-11pm. Same with the reception. But it was CLOSED the next day. So no breakfast for me. No personal check out either. Perhaps I should be grateful for that since the receptionist was UNPOLITE. I booked a room with shower and toilet in the room but didn't get that, bathroom was in the corridor.

The vibe in the hostel really felt very off. There was a common area/kitchen, but there were always just some middle-aged men hanging out and not really travellers. It felt like a few of these people were actually living in the hostel, as they were always hanging around... As a girl, I would HIGHLY recommend booking a female only dorm as I wouldn't have liked being in a room with these old men. Lady at reception was quite nice. The cleaning lady however came into my room without knowing or evening apologizing. No activities organized. In general very non-social hostel.

Quite clean and good rooms. If you just need a cheap bed to sleep next to the train station than this hostel is good. For everyone else, I wouldn't recommend.

The incompetent staff. Instead of opening a door for a customer who forgot something in the room, they told the desperate traveller that they could not help him. What saved the customer was the goodwill of a person he met less than 24 hours prior. Pure incompetence. 50% of showers are full of fungus 🤮. Better spend 5 additional euros and pick another hostel.

Dirty, the staff in the day was rude, didn't show me the space, rules, nothing, they give you the card but if you have a problem with it (unmagnetized for example) you're in trouble cause they don't have anyone after 10 to help. They don't say you have to pick up the sheets by yourself, when I and another traveler arrived I was without it. After that the woman left to walk around, but when returned nobody was there and she had to sleep without it. Bathrooms are dirty and with mold. The girl in the morning was helpful, but the woman in the afternoon, looked like you were always annoying by asking simple questions.

Hostel was very clean and welcoming, with a common room area downstairs which was always full of other friendly travelers as well as TV, couches and a kitchen/dining area. Use of CCTV made me feel safe. Location was well situated in the centre of Alicante with all attractions within a 30 minute walk and was close to numerous markets and restaurants. Air conditioning was also much appreciated as temperatures were always around 30 degrees. There is also plenty to do in Alicante, I stayed 5 days and had plenty to do, would 100% recommend.

It was super dirty, the rooms smelled like urine, the showers were moldy and unclean, and the overall hygiene of the place was very poor. There are many noises all the time, for an example the first night some men were yelling in front of our window at 5 AM and nobody did anything Also, I had to ask about bed linen three separate times in order to finally get it. The location is quite away from everything. Overall this was the worst stay in a hostel I've had so far.

The only good thing about my stay in this place was that I was only there for 2 nights.
