Beautiful hotel with amazing views, very well maintained, lovely spa experience and very friendly staff. The restaurant was great and the food delicious. We also loved the antique car and motorbike collection. The room was beautiful and the beds very comfortable. Spotlessly clean. 10/10!

Amazing hotel, absolutely stunning. Rooms are gorgeous, big comfortable beds, very clean. Staff were lovely and helpful. The spa is really lovely, one of the best that I have been to. Less than 5 minute walk to the village and restaurants.

Nice quirky hotel just outside the old part of the town. Easy to walk into the town and explore. Excellent final stop on a motorcycle tour of Northern Spain / Portugal and final stop before Santander ferry which is half an hour along the motorway. Plenty of available parking, decent meal.

when I booked, I was aware there was an extra charge for the spa but you have to pay $ €18 to go to the spa/jacuzzi/heated pool area for just a one hour slot. there is a pool that can be used for free on the premises but ultimately I think it would be better if the jacuzzi was just simply included in the fee. i ended up staying in Santillana a couple more days at Hotel Cuevas which provided amenities at no extra charge for a similar price.

The property is impeccably clean and there is a pool and spa facilities. we had great central AC and blackout curtains for sleeping in. the bathroom and room was a good size and I also had a small balcony. staff was friendly and the hotel was good quality.

The zealous waitress on duty for breakfast on the second morning demanding payment from us and another family who’d already paid. She marched us all to reception in a very distrustful manner which spoiled the stay somewhat. With hindsight perhaps it would have been better to pay for breakfast up front

Good location on the road close to the old town of Santillana del Mar, about 10 minutes walking, where you can find restaurants or you can drive about 8 km to Suances beach with many places to eat. There is a private parking at the hotel. Room was good at the ground floor with terrace, very quiet at night. Good A/C and wifi. There is an outdoor pool but with no shades. The breakfast was good. The hotel is about 2 km from Altamira Caves Museum.

We had a great time and hope to come back some day! We really enjoyed the spa and the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. They were really careful about covid and had many measures in place. The hotel is just a few minutes walk away from the medieval village and some 10-30min from many gorgeous beaches by car. Fully recommended!

Our bedroom was close to the road with continuous traffic most of the night. In hindsight we should have booked a room at the back of the hotel and ironically they are cheaper as they do not have a balcony. Due to the road proximity we could not have the terrace doors open which made the bedroom very stuffy.

The reception staff on the day of check-in. At check-in we were asked to pay the difference for the accommodation in full. We requested to see the rooms before paying, but we were refused on the grounds that this is only possible after paying in full, although the first night had already been paid for. After we paid the difference in cash, we were not issued any kind of receipt because it is not possible until the next day when the manager comes to work. Deceptive policies of the hotel. At the time of booking, we were not informed that we have to pay 18 euros/hour to have access to the Spa, otherwise this does not appear anywhere on your website.It is true that a few days before starting the accommodation we were informed about this, but at that moment we no longer had the possibility to cancel. The smell in the bathroom was terrible. No vegetables were offered at breakfast. The outdoor pool was totally unattractive, you didn't even have anything to sit on because there were only 2, 3 sunbeds and a few chairs, which could not cover all the demands.
