No air conditioning or room fans available. Pervasive smell of 'drains' in bathroom after the first day. The staff kindly moved us to a more sweet smelling room on day 4.

Hadn't fully appreciated that some of the apartments look over the car park (but then again the ocean is only 10 seconds' walk away and the carpark views have sunny mornings and large terraces). Would have liked an oven as well as a hob + microwave for a longer stay.

Spacious apartment. Extremely helpful reception staff. Clean bed linen and towels efficiently delivered once a week. Location superb for beaches, harbour and old town and buses - beautiful views from the front. Very good value for money.

The lift was broken for a 2 week period during our stay. The privacy offered at Ocean View means that occupants must sweep and wipe their own interior surfaces. A small matter as far as we were concerned.

The room was very clean and well appointed. The balcony was large and was in the sun from 2.00 pm. till sunset...and the sun set right in front of us. The sea view was very pleasant, and the rooftop pool area offered 360 degree views of the town. The 2 receptionists were very nice and eager to help wherever possible. All in all, a very successful holiday destination.

The elevator was out of use for the whole week I was there. If I had been mobility impaired this would have been very serious.

Peaceful location by the harbour in the old part of El Cotillo. Numerous restaurants nearby and a good supermarket in the next street. My room was huge, designed for mobility impairment, the kitchen was well equipped though without an oven, just four-ring hob. The rooftop pool gives fabulous views. The staff are friendly and helpful, a faulty toaster was quickly replaced.

The bed frame (room 17) is very squeaky and needs some attention. Every time you turn over in the night, it wakes you up. Noise travels so easily in these apartments too, and so it was not great hearing shouting and arguing from next door, late at night, plus every detail of their bathroom use! I guess it depends which apartment you stay in too as this has not been so noticeable in the past.

This is my third stay at these apartments. I love the location, it is central and close to everything in El Cotillo. The staff are always very friendly and polite. The facilities are fairly basic, but good. It is much appreciated to have a coffee machine (you can buy the pods at the supermarket). There is a lovely little pool on the roof that is kept clean. The value for money is always good at Ocean View.

If you want to stay longer than the 3 days we did, you’d want better cooking facilities. Maybe the flats have fuller kitchen facilities

Location amazing - we knew it so specifically book these apartments. View is fantastic from poolside but unfortunately our apartment didn’t overlook the sea. Pool looks lovely but we swam in thesea

It is an affordable option but not cheap per se, however one can REALLY feel that the management has gone out of its way to have the cheapest, most basic furniture possible. Unfortunately I felt that this level of optimising for maximum profitability is so palpable that this is not hospitality.

The location is absolutely ideal and the common terrace is so great to watch the sunset

The bed was a little too stiff (i have a bad back), and there was only one uncomfortable pillow. (Both common things on hotels).

there were small bugs in the kitchen and bathroom they were smaller than ants and completely harmless we kept all the sides slightly damp to stop them and it worked slightly wasn’t worth moving rooms for so can’t complain too much. hot water in the bath and taps was slightly temperamental when in the shower the hot water would run out leaving it barely warm. can’t complain about location but our balcony faced on a car park.

the property was much bigger than expected we were pleasantly surprised there was also a bath and shower, it was a very quiet location and the kitchen had every necessary appliance.

Entry was just as we were told and seamless, the property was clean and roomy and had everything we expected, the staff were friendly and helpful and full of smiles. All in all just what we were hoping for.

These are small things and we'd def go back. You could feel every coiled spring on the hard mattress on the single bed. I had to layer it with duvets. Incredibly, there's no AC or fan which made it additionally hard to sleep in the heat. I can't imagine what it's like in high summer. Also the building seems to have been repurposed from an office block or small shopping mall, downstairs what would have been a glazed area is blocked up so it's not very pretty from the outside (doesn't really matter) but on the first floor the twin bedroom looks onto a communal open corridor, with windows at waist level. We had to leave the bedroom window open during the night to try to create a draft, which felt a bit insecure - guests in other apartments could literally access bedrooms. It feels like a safe place though but it meant you had to keep the blinds shut too during the day for privacy. It's check out at 10am which is fine but as someone else observed she knocked on the door at 10.01 and stood there waiting while I emptied the bins so be ready to leave punctually.

We had a magnificent time at Ocean View Cotillo. It's in a great location overlooking the sea and close to the old harbour with its restaurants and shops, we loved El Cotillo's laid back vibe. The two-bedroom apartment was comfortable (on the whole), super clean, well-equipped with kettle, coffee machine, good utensils, TV with Netflix, lift and was excellent value for money. There's a lovely pool with great sea views on the rooftop, even better than the photos online. We got our keys from a security box and didn't meet anyone at reception but we like it that way anyway.

Amazing location, we got upgrade to room with sea view. Neighborhood is very quiet. Room was equipped with all necessary items to prepare dinner. Reception staff is incredibly friendly.
