The flashing blue light from the internet box in the corner was terrible in the dark and made it difficult to sleep. I also had to disconnect the TV because of the powerful blue light. Also I could hear the people in the next room talking until 2 in the morning.

The hotel lock was tricky to use and seemed open sometimes during the day. The walls of the room were not well sound proofed; we had noisy neighbours talking till at least 3.30am one night. We booked 3 months before going, and it was £50 per night more than booking nearer the time. I felt this was an unreasonable mark for booking ahead. The room was small, with only one seat in for relaxation. Actually no room for another. The balcony space was basic - no view. The mini- bar was empty. Actually just a fridge which was useful

The property was beautifully done up inside. The street was quiet. It was 5-20mins walk from the centre of Toledo. Laundry service daily

The walls between rooms are very thin. You could hear the guests in the room next door very clearly. I was awoken 2x by their alarm going off, before they appeared to be. We also had an issue with the code not working when we arrived. The woman who answered the call was very friendly and helpful.

This place has not reception and I miss a place to leave out luggage. It doesn't offer any meal.

Air conditioning wasn’t great

It’s good value for money, you get what you pay for. We did not see any staff while we stayed here as they sent us a code to the property and the room before our arrival, this suited us as we checked in online. The room was clean enough, although the bathroom was a little bit dated which gave the impression it needed a better clean but can’t complain for the price we paid. Location was quite central and not far from the town centre although it was down a hill so maybe not the best if you don’t like walking in the heat.

Safety wise, you depend on the other guests to close the front door, not everybody checks that it is really closed.

This is a nice hostel without any reception. When you book you get an entry code to the building and the room. The room we had was clean, had a comfortable bed, nice shower and a small terrace. The hostal is located a short walk from one of the entrance gates to the city. There is parking on the street (orange zone, you have to pay in the machine!) or free parking 10 mins. away.

The rooms were very clean, comfortable and well decorated. The hotel is nicely renovated and quite pleasant. The location is very good, very close to the center but also to the entrance of the city with parking areas nearby. Self check-in was very easy.

All was beautiful just a bit puzzled at finding a kettle in the room but no cups to be found and unsure of who to contact.

The building is magical and the facilities of a high standard. Central location and a stunning interior.

No parking available nearby. You can park at the bus station parking lot maybe 1/2 km away.

The interior is attractive and the room was clean. It's also right outside the old city and you can walk to cafes close by and a good restaurant El Penon.

• The lack of reception, no staff in case of a problem. • The key code was faulty so you had to type the code a few times for the door to open. It happen to a few customers and the phone number given for emergencies didn’t answer. Not just for us but at one point there were three rooms stuck outside of the front door. And the street doesn’t have a great feel about it at night. They called back like 20min after I called for a woman stuck outside, but we had already let her in… which is not safe when you think about it. • Our room was very small for the price payed. • The lack of a kettle or some means of making a warm drink in the morning because there is no breakfast service, we knew this when booking. Maybe put one in the common area if not in the rooms. • Parking is not great.
