Fabulous location with amazing views. Fascinating artistic touches everywhere, stylish and full attention to detail. Nothing to much trouble and very attentive service along with good food. Dog friendly with food bowls and dog bed. Loved it.

The rooms are not well soundproofed. The sinks in the rooms are pieces of art, but not so easy to use :D

Hotel is amazing. Friendly staff. Super clean. Restaurant top - dinner was awesome! The view on the castle is very romantic. We will go back for sure in summer to enjoy the swimming pool as well.

Excellent stay, this brand new hotel is run by lovely people and it far exceeded our expectations. From the room with everything you may need, through the received attention, easy and safe parking, to fantastic breakfast in absolute gorgeous breakfast/restaurant room, we couldn't have asked for more. It was also one of very few places where we felt our dog was genuinely welcome rather than just tolerated only in the room as most hotels. Quite convenient to drive to the wineries in Ribera del Duero. Thanks for having us!

The breakfast was overpriced and the jacuzzi wasn't clean. We had to purge it several times as it was releasing so much dirt with an awful smell. It looked like they haven't either used it or cleaned it in a very long time.

Althought given the nice location and the positive points mentioned above, we would normally give a highee rate to such a hotel but we had a very unpleasant experience with the owner of the hotel. We were contacted by the hotel before arrival concerning suplementary beds for kids and after some exchanges via the booking app we were reassured by the hotel that they would arrange it without additional costs so we were expecting that everything was in order and ready for our arrival. However, when we arrived the first we heard from the hotel owner was that she didnt appreciate the exchanges via the booking app that we were not enough grateful and she started a stressful and very emotional, confrontational and hostile discussion, which was the last thing we needed after 600 Km by car with 3 little kids in a very hot day. This provoked a very unpleasant situation with the owner calling another staff member to check us in as she said "she was also human" and she could not "tollerate" the situation in fact she had created herself upon our arrival. After the check in we thought we would be left in peace but when I asked whether the restaurant was open, she restarted the discussion by saying that herself and her staff were angry at me/us. My wife was trembling of stress (very bad for her as she recently finished a very difficult medical treatment) and we finally decided to go to eat somewhere else which was not easy being in such a small place where we didnt know where to go, late and with small kids, and with my oldest son's girlfriend suffering from diabets. As we were afraid to use any services, we left the day after without eating breakfast in the hotel.

The location and the view in the castle is beautiful. There is a kinder playground and a relatively small but pleasant swimming pool. We liked the decoration in the rooms made of wood and with clay sinks and big windows. The mosaics made of little stones are very nice.

1.Fridge in room NOT CLEAN: mouldy stains left from previous season incl. an old wine cooler jacket covered in black mould. I routinely travel with disinfecting wipes as I carry medication that needs to be refrigerated and kept hygienic: I do not expect to have to clean a fridge upon arrival in a 5* hotel! 2.a. An arty designer sink: but has a 0.5cm lip only= wet feet every time one runs the tap. The sink is unglazed - hygienic?? 2.b. glass partition between bedroom and bathroom= cannot put light on to use bathroom at night without waking other partner who is sleeping. 2.c. Black-out curtains...that don't quite meet so one light from the pool floods in all night. 3. A great shower... But water just does not drain away: result within minutes the entire bathroom floor is flooded as there is no lip to stop the water from running everywhere. 4. Patio door with immediate access to AstroTurf (artificial grass) outdoor area: several stubbed out cigarette ends here. 5. Outdoor furniture covered in dust and dirt. Had not been wiped before guest arrival?! 6. Padded cushions on poolside loungers had puddles of muddy standing water on them. In fact, the entire pool area looking tired and uncared for. First week of June felt like end of season?! 7. Constant and omni-present CCTV monitoring?? Feels a bit creepy. A bit more customer care and presence from staff would be more re-assuring. 8. Apart from check-in and check-out we saw very little of the people running the hotel. Perhaps mature travellers do not quite fit the target customer profile the hotel wants to aim at. 9. We had requested an evening meal on the evening of our arrival. We were only told at check-in that the restaurant is not open until end of June. We would have appreciated being informed before our arrival. 10. On arrival the room was filled with insect killer spray (Lots of dying insects on the floor). As a person with allergies I would have appreciated being told before entering the room.

We enjoyed many aspects of our 2 night stay and would stay again BUT a lot of things were not up to scratch for a hotel that calls itself 5*. The VIEW of the castle ruins and the unique DESIGN focus make this place. However, FUNCTIONALITY should come before design! We liked the very big bed and the excellent choice of pillows. Quality "eco" toiletries... But as they are offered in single use mini plastic bottles it somewhat defeats the claim. On arrival we were offered the downstairs "accessible" room instead of the first floor room with balcony which we had booked and pre-paid "easier for luggage and access to the pool"... Yes, but . . .
