Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

LatviaThere was a lot of pillows but those on bed were really hard. And in parking be aware that there are 2 towers that connect on top - in S1. If you go left and down from parking, you will grt stuck in escape room with no signs how to exit. If you see signs with B , go back to S1 and look for other drive way down. Be aware that appartment is on 1st floor.
Very nice, freshly built and nicely designed appartment right next to old town. Biblao being really hilly, its up the hill from it so really quiet but take the elevator down and you are right in middle of action. Plaza nueva with all the beautiful pinxos bars is just 5 min walk away. Appartment has everything from kitchen amenities to washing machine and free parking. It has also 2 bathrooms so being family of 4 it was nice to speed up morning showers and get out exploring fantastic Basque country.

SpainParking very difficult to reach, because the street has been blocked in Google Maps, because’ it’s only accessible for residents, a nightmare! The rental management should warn the visitors and give instructions
The appartement is brand new, modern decoration, two separate bathrooms, a lot of useful goods, coffee, tea, cookies, toiletries. The location is very good to visit the city

United StatesWe didn’t know that we needed to arrive between 3 PM and 5 PM for the code to work to enter the locked outer doors. We arrived after five and a nice woman let us in then we got the keys from the lockbox on the door. No other problems at all. We met the owner and he was very friendly and very helpful.

United StatesThis two-bedroom apartment was exceptionally clean, very quiet and centrally-located in a cool part of Bilbao! The interior was tastefully planned and all items looked new. It had everyrthing that we needed for a comfortable stay. The best part is that the beds and pillows were superb!

The apartment was spotlessly clean , fully equiped with everything you could think of , lots of toiletries and even toothbrushes. A breakfast basket and tea coffee etc. Fab location in the Old Town close to everything. Very quiet area no noise at night. Cannot fault it at all.

Israelyou need to circle in the town to collect the key (though instructions are clear) - this takes sometime. area around ... old city - did not feel too safe when we came late at night. probably wrong impression but thats how it felt.
Superb place for a family stay in Bilbao. Big appartment, perfectly equipped and with parking underground. Its a ground floor keep in mind ... not much light form the street, but no noice also. few min's from the metro station, and old city starts right there. It is important that you follow instruction how to get in / how to park. Host is super useful and will assist you even at late hours, via phone or W/A.

SpainCoffee percolator was not working well, lid was broken. I would have liked a spare towel, a hook behind the bathroom door would be nice.
Two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, lovely lounge area, nice drinking glasses, comfortable beds, toiletries in bathrooms, welcome tray, available coffee and tea, ice in freezer, drying rail for wet clothing, good appliances in kitchen, nice showers, good pillows.

United KingdomPicking up and dropping off of the key is a night mare. You need the key to park at the apartment, so you drive to collect the key, but there's no parking at the office, and you are stuck in a one way system which takes 20 mins to get you back to the office after looking for a space... so you drop a passenger off to the get the key and drive around the one way system again (it's a single carriageway, which you can't stop in without causing problems. Maybe it's easy with local knowledge, but if you are renting a flat, you are probably unfamiliar with this city. Interesting that the key arrangements are not made clear until a refund is not possible and you wouldn't have time to rearrange anything. The flat it self is perfectly practical, but has nothing endearing to it. The balcony is really a utility area, and there are no views from anywhere if you want to sit with a glass of something and enjoy a view or people watch. We personally found the bed very uncomfortable. The pillows were too hard, but that might be personal choice.
Despite the fact the flat and where the keys are collected from are not close at all and the lack of any views, the actual location of the apartment is good. It is very clean and well equipped if a little bland.
