Some of the furniture needs replacing, but it didn't affect our stay.

Right in the middle of the buzzing Viña district, with plenty of great bars, taperias and shops, yet surprisingly quiet at night. A few minutes’ walk from the lovely Caleta beach, where we swam every day. One May morning I was the only one in the sea! Although not the biggest room, there was a shady courtyard patio which we used to relax and plan our trip. We used the roof terrace to dry our swimsuits and towels. Free water was a nice touch. We also used the fridge in the entrance hall. Of course the biggest asset of Dormir en Cadiz is the welcoming, multilingual host Pablo - truly a mine of information, and full of useful tips. He was responsive to all our needs and questions, with a ready smile no matter what! Dzięnkuje bardzo/Muchisimas gracias! The location was perfect for strolling around historic Cádiz - we saw so much during our 4 night stay. Highly recommended!

Location was absoloutely amazing, right in the centre of the old town with plenty of restaurant options around. The drawback is it was a little noisy at night - but nothing unbearable, and is definitely in line with staying in such a busy area. The hotel had a roof top. Pablo was absolutely amazing with communication and providing tips. His communication made him one of the best hosts that I have come across. Absolutely great value for money

No restaurant - but to be fair I knew that when I booked. They do however have a fridge and microwave at customer’s disposal.

Lovely old place with modern / updated bedrooms. Great location near the beach and many bars / tavernas. Great staff (Pablo) who is a fountain of local knowledge with lots of recommendations and suggestions for things to do / see and places to go.

We loved everything about Dormir en Cadiz . It was comfortable and light, with a pretty patio, and the location couldn't have been better for us! Right in the old town surrounded by lovely tapas bars and 5 minutes from the beach. The best thing about it though was the lovely Pablo who works there. He went above and beyond for us. His recommendations were so good and he was super helpful, even researching travel options for us when we wanted to go on day trips - which he really didn't have to do. Such a lovely man and starting our day with a friendly chat with him was a real highlight. The friendly welcome we received from Pablo when we arrived at Dormir en Cadiz really set the flavour for our whole holiday, and our mindset too, and we found the people of the city generally to be warm, friendly and welcoming - the 6 nights we spent in Cadiz turned out to be perhaps our favourite holiday ever! Thank you so much for a fabulous time, we will definitely be returning!

The pension is well designed and very colorful. As well as close to many restaurantes, 10-15 minutes away from the Catedral, Mercado, mucho plazas, and coast water as well as walking distance to La estacion de tren y, convenient for visit to Jerez. But most of all was the extraordinaire manager/clerk Pedro: kind, knowledgeable, speaks 5 languages, loves people and loves Cadiz. It showed. He made my stay mucho excellente!! I worked in hotels and have traveled the world and Pedro is in a class all his own.

This is a pretty hotel in a great location. The rooms are nice and the rooftop is lovely. It’s great value. Plus the reception was so friendly and helpful!! We got recommendations for things to do and see, places to eat, good times to visit certain locations and freedoms to use the facilities.

I stayed here for three nights. Could have happily moved in! Beautiful room and most comfortable bed ever! Also lovely terrace on second floor although I didn't use it. Staff were exceptional. So welcoming, informative and helpful. It was one of the highlights of my trip to Spain.

Our bathroom door didn't latch properly but it was a private ensuite and we are a couple so not a big deal in the slightest.

We arrived by train and walked from the main station which took around 20 mins. The location is very good, right in the heart of the old town and very close to the beach and castles and a lot of the main things to see and do. I don't think we were more than 10-15 minutes walk from anything we wanted to see. Despite being so central the residence was very quiet (although admittedly we had an interior room so we did not look out onto a street). The room was clean, warm (turns out the wind in Cadiz can be quite strong and cold in March!), and comfortable. The little roof garden is also lovely. Anna on reception was amazing. Besides generally being welcoming and really nice, she gave us a map of things to see/do and places for breakfast/tapas/copas/fish/etc. which was really helpful and we referred to much even in our short stay. She was also super accommodating when my partner had to hop on a work call for an hour or so, even though we had checked out, and we were able to sit on the terrace and use the wi-fi until the meeting was done and we were ready to travel on to our next destination.
