Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaIt would have been good to know that from the town centre it's about a four to five hundred meter trek all up hill, not bad if driving, but walking is a challenge if you are not in shape. We managed but took our time trekking up. Not easy to go to town center by car to get to restaurants and shops as there is very limited parking during the day. We did find one indoor parking service however when we returned to our car, it took ten minutes to get into our car as some inconsiderate person parked their car eight inches from ours; we were boxed in by the walls of the garage and their car.
Nice small hotel, owner, Rosa, ' we think, was exceptional. Very cheerful and friendly greeting, very helpful even though neither of us spoke each others' language well but we managed to communicate. Our room was excellent, spacious and very comfortable. The terrace is a great place to relax after trekking up the road to the hotel. Also a good place to hang a bit of laundry that needed to be done.

MyanmarElevated terrace with views of both the sea and the mountains to the front of the home and an excellently kept secluded garden full of flowers, plants and trees behind the building. Proprietor was lovely and always available to help us while there. Village is small enough to be quiet but large enough to have restaurants, shops and other convinces. Car park just accross from the hotel. Beautiful home with wooden staircase and immaculately clean rooms.

SpainThe wifi wasn't that good in the last floor, but we didn't care at all.
Everything. Since the very beginning when the staff welcomed us till the end that we left. It was very calm and relaxing to be there. Besides, it was very clean. Great views from the terrace. We could even take some bananas from the tree. They were so good. There's a free parking by one of the corners.

United Kingdom.Come by car or taxi. I didn't, and my age and fitness level meant l nearly didn't make it! The long, incredibly steep hill made the property inaccessible to all but the young and super fit. Fortunately taxis are cheap and plentiful
Rosie the owner? who couldn't do enough for you. The pretty garden with a banana tree with huge bunches of bananas. The terrace with stunning sea and mountain views.
