Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

France- We were very cold during the night (early April) despite the small blankets and auxiliary heating - The view is nice but you can't see very well through the material - The site is not very easily accessible
- The interior of the bubble was very spacious - Everything was clean and well-equipped - The view was beautiful - There was a bottle of wine

United KingdomDirections were very bad so we spent over an hour trying to find the property. Several different messages had been received prior to the visit with slightly different directions. It would have been impossible to find in the dark and visitors need to be aware the final track is very rough and uneven. Communication with the owner was very slow and sometimes messages were simply ignored
The location was as expected - very rural. The interior of the dome was nicely furnished and very clean and comfortable. Lovely sunset but view of the stars reduced as a result of lighting around the dome

GermanyThe only thing that we missed was a kettle - but Alberto said he would get one
It was not as difficult as some wrote to find the Dome- we just used Google Maps and then Alberto‘s perfect photos. The dome is remote and the road to get there is bumpy- but that is exactly what we were looking for and you can‘t take a bath without getting wet! The Dome itself is really fantastic like in the photos. Alberto had left a bottle of wine in the fridge - Thanks again! The only thing that is a bit tricky is to prepare a meal with just one hotplate- but it is a solvable problem. As the Dome is remote, you should be prepared and bring everything (Food, Drink) at once, it is a pretty long way to get things (but that is the point)

United KingdomThe location we were given was wrong, if you're using Google maps the entrance is here: https://goo.gl/maps/LBbPr7EQJ9Cebtsm8 . We couldn't get any warm water for the shower and there was a stove but no oven. Small things for us though!
The location had stunning scenery, the owner was really lovely and accommodating when we got there a little early. He was also happy to chat to us and show us around the eco-farm he was running! The dome itself was nice and spacious and well kitted out including effective air conditioning.

PolandIt was windy, which rattled the dome, but it wasn't much of a big deal.
I enjoyed the freedom and privacy of the location. The bed was comfortable. The experience was really cool.

SwedenThere were not enough blankets on the bed for the temperature felt inside the dome during the night - it was very cold. The decoration could be better and more taken care of - something I would expect for the price asked for a night there.
The surroundings and environment. Sleeping under the stars and waking up with a beautiful sunrise.

United KingdomThere was a storm in the night and of course, this is made of canvass so was noisy but I totally accept that this is nature and not the owners fault.
A special treat, the view is just amazing, it was clean and comfortable. A bottle of wine and water was left in the fridge for us, thank you.

Switzerlandit's over-hyped and over-priced for what it is. freezing cold during the night (we were there in June..). heater did not work. super damp and moist in the whole tent (our shoes were wet the next day). shower is tiny although there would have been enough space in the bathroom area. with the wind it's very loud and we did not sleep for one minute because it was so cold. probably the location is also just not suitable for this kind of glamping tents, it is too windy (as it happens to be in some parts of Lanzarote..)
the idea is cool but the execution has not been thought-through. there are some nice features, the chairs, bottle of wine in the fridge (debatable quality.. still nice gesture). the best is probably the view (if you are lucky also a nice sunset) if you leave the resort and walk to the cliff

United KingdomThe only issue we had was finding it lol, it doesn’t show up on Google maps for taxi drivers to find it, and the entrance is in the middle of nowhere, however after contacting the owner they guided the taxi driver to it. maybe a signpost somewhere would help this minor issue lol
The location of this property is amazing, watching the sunset over the volcano was breathtaking. We only stayed one night and it was very very windy, but it was all part of the dome experience, it was warm cosy and well equipped.

Denmarkthe gas heater was broken/empty. so we were forced to use the AC to get heat. which drained the battery, so we didn’t have power. The place is difficult to find, it’s not where the pin point on maps is. so you have to follow a long guide. and not easy road, with a small/normal car.
the view and place was Nice
