The location of the hotel and its proximity to the beach were just what we had asked for. An excellent, quiet spot enjoying prestine clear waters.

The bathroom wasn’t equipped with neither shampoo nor conditioner which was a must with all the salt water. The hotel is a little bit far from the night life which isn’t a deal breaker but something to think about

The staff were great, food exceeded expectations (better than any other Spanish food) and it’s the perfect location to have a getaway

This was our second time and I cannot say it was as good as our first. Room got cleaned after non disturb sign was on the door, one of our towels got moved off one of the bed during lunch, front desk staff were rude during check out and found out that a few of the guests had paid considerably less for the day amount of time duration. Lost that management connection from last year, also.

Love Portinatx and exploring the area on the top of the island. Thorough room clean and inclusive is good to have. Staff are great most of the time away from the reception team.

I think this hotel is great, it’s such a fantastic location and all the staff are very friendly. It was my second visit and I don’t usually return to places as I like somewhere new but I knew I liked this place to relax and will definitely come back again

The food is terrible we ate out most nights I would never do AI in a Sandos again same food every day same lunch as dinner really boring and bland we got a burger at snack bar and it was raw in the middle! The pool area gets packed by 10am and the area is very small so you need to get up at the crack of dawn. Drinks are awful no named brands I brought my own wine from the shop every night. If your not fussy about quality then you will be fine.

The bed is really comfy and the air con works great! The entertainment was okay doesn’t last very long though.

The lack of space around the pool, the hotel was fully booked and you couldn’t get a sun bed which are packed very closely together. The beach is fantastic but you have to pay €24 euros a day for two sun beds and an umbrella.

The staff were lovely and the location is stunning.

It was fine for us but worth being aware hotel is set on hillside, so outside around pool area there are lots of steps. Portinatx is in the north and there is limited public transport, so if you want to see more of the island hiring a car may be the way to go.

We were all inc, food generally very good, pina coladas excellent, staff all very friendly and helpful, resort is fairly quiet which we enjoyed. Beach is beautiful and accessible from hotel by a few steps. Really enjoyed our stay and would go back.

Sun-beds were all taken very early so had to go to the beach , where you need to pay for sun beds and umbrellas.

Good location to the beach, good evening entertainment and good variety of food and drinks as part of the AI package.

the room wasn’t clean when we checked in (there were long dark hairs everywhere and they were never removed in the days when we had our room cleaned. the bed is also super uncomfortable. the mattress is not great at all but the pillows don’t do anything for you. barely slept during my stay. also, the airconditioning only turns on after minutes after turning it on…

the location is great! right next to the beach and close to a few restaurants.

Soundproofing was quite poor - you could hear people walking around upstairs (booming). No shampoo, moisturiser in bathroom (just hand soap and body wash in the shower). I would have expected shampoo at a minimum at a place like this

Beach was one of the best on the whole island and definitely the best in portinatx. Buffet breakfast was extensive (I cannot count on other meals). Clean. Staff were friendly and competent Overall the building, fixtures and decor are on the older side and in need of a refresh but there is nothing specifically wrong

Resort was poor, smelt of sewage every day. All areas outside of the hotel, bars, pool and entertainment areas were blighted by the smell. This is no fault of the hotel (which was excellent), but the resort area is badly managed, empty shops and an old water park full of weeds and an actual puddle of sewage on the beach in the next cove, dog poo everywhere. It was so bad we wouldn't lie on the beach no matter how pretty the view out to sea from our hotel.

The hotel was clean, the room lovely, food brilliant and staff couldn't have done any more to look after us. The royal elite service was fabulous. Good quality drinks and a la carte restaurant experience exceeded our expectations. You can't fault the service and the cleanliness of this property.

The room was very small, and there is nowhere to put your stuff in the bathroom. We wanted to pay for a late check out but it was not possible. We were allowed to use a hospitality room for showers but were told only 15 minutes allowed for each person which I thought was mean. We had to shower, got changed within these 15 minuses and there was no reason to be like this, the room was quite free the whole day.

pool too small and sun beds jammed in, far too many and near to other beds, no privacy. without the beach they would struggle with the pool facilities and size of hotel. there is a dis-used water park attached to the property which either needs to be pulled down and more pools added or reinvented as a water park. when you drive in to the hotel the first thing you see is this and it doesn’t make a good first impression. there was a terrible sewage smell both on the bathroom and whilst laying on the beach we also smelt it quite often.

Avoid room 134, next to two air vents from the kitchen, they thankfully switch off at 12 at night otherwise they hum all day long. watch out for the nastiest, cheapest beach towels bring your own :-)

amazing location, recently refurbished, beach club is a nice addition, food is OK but for max for 3/4 days otherwise is much the of same and you'll be looking to go out.
