We had a great experience staying at Mirador de Bedones. We stayed in the room with the spa bath tub and it was nicely renovated, clean and very spacious. The hotel was very quiet (though only one other couple there while we were), although there were some neighboring barking dogs on occasion that were annoying.

The location is wonderful, with very nice views. Oviedo is just 7 min away by car and is easily reachable, even for just an evening walk in the city. The owner was very kind and available, he advised us where to park in Oviedo and gave us restaurant recomendations. The bed was very comfortable. And the breakfast was delicious (there are many choices to choose from). I recommend this place and would definitely come back.

Lovely quiet location. Exceptional host Paul who went out of his way to look after you. Excellent breakfasts. We also had a very tasty meal cooked for us by Paul who made a special vegetarian meal for my wife and a gorgeous Spanish omelette for me. The entire building is kept very clean. We were upstairs so enjoyed sitting out on the balcony with a great view of the church and the valley. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and can recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in the countryside.

The room was super clean and very nice. The hotel is beautiful: quite close to Oviedo centre but still surrounded by nature and with a very nice view. Breakfast was included and very rich (and good). The host is very nice, kind, and helpful! We really enjoyed our stay and we would definetly recommend it!

We loved the location! Only a 10 minute drive from Oviedo but in an idyllic countryside location. Peaceful and relaxing. The host Paul was super helpful and informative.

We loved it all

We enjoyed everything about our stay. The location is in a beautiful, rural location, which is very relaxing and peaceful, but only a few minutes drive from the old centre of Oviedo. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well appointed, with its own terrace overlooking a view to die for. Our host couldn’t have done anything more to make us feel welcome and at home from the moment we arrived. He was extraordinarily obliging, preparing a bespoke breakfast for each guest. He also cooked us dinner on one evening which was delicious, and he took time out of his hectic day to open the church for us, as we have a particular interest in the churches of the area. We want to come back!

Small hotel in a beautiful location with great views from our balcony over the valley. Paul the owner is so friendly and couldn't do enough for us during our stay. We upgraded to a larger room which was great and extremely comfortable. Slept like a log it was so peaceful up in the hills above Oviedo.

I expected bigger room and I missed compliments in the bathroom as champú, etc...bu apart of that everything was lovely.

we booked this place because it is off the beaten path but had a charging station for our electric car on the premises. Our charge card (Shell) did not work but the owner of El Mirardor had one we could use. He and his wife went out of their way to make us welcome. This is a beautiful place with stunning views and peace and quiet that makes for a good night’s sleep. Absolutely recommend!!

We really enjoyed Asturias and its surroundings the most, and the view from our little balcony in El Mirador de Bendones as well, especially in the early mornings! The room was fresh and well cleaned, and the quality of the bed was just perfect, which was most important to Edith, because of her back(pains). And we were very lucky that Paul(o)'s could help us out in finding a garage after I unfortunately damaged our car by hitting a rockstone along the road and needed a new tire. The other thing worth mentioning is that Paul made us some lovely tasting and a bit more 'extended' breakfasts all mornings. Thankyou dear Paul, we are grateful for that!

I liked everything but coffee making facilities in the room would be nice, more toiletries (shampoo and conditioner) and a riser rail for the shower head in the bathroom for the days when you don't want to get your hair wet!

Everything! From the moment we arrived we felt so relaxed. The location is lovely, so peaceful yet only a short drive into Oviedo. Paul is the perfect host, so friendly and helpful.
