Little con is maybe not enough electricity sources, even for the kettle and cofee machine present in the room. Bring your own extension block is my advise, as we found it a common problem in Spain.

It was clean, comfy beds (rare in our experience in Spain), just next to the exit from Caminito. View from balcony is beautiful. Some tips to find it: there are numerous road signs to find it, and approximate Google location is correct, just not all the roads are. Best way is to go behind the railway station, not the main road as there is a steep slope to reach it later otherwise.

I would appreciate hand soap since I couldn’t find any other then shampoo/shower gel.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. she let me checkin earlier since I before the checkin time. The location is good, very close to El caminito. The flat has a great terrace with spectacular view of the mountains with a table snd a sunbed to enjoy. At night, watching the stars was incredible. It is also quiet and everything was spotless clean; the bed was very comfortable, the decor was tasteful. There was a coffee machine with capsules also which I appreciated a lot. The hotel also offers foid but I could only try breakfast and some tapas which was ok. The ladies who worked there also were very nice and helpful.

Didn't let us know dinner was no longer available on site or the pool was closed pre arriving but not a big deal. Strange intermittent yelling coming from downstairs - unsure if another person staying or what. Alot of powerlines, but guess that's just being next to a hydro facility!

We liked that it’s small (it has only 4 rooms I think) so it felt intimate and cozy. It is very close to the bus stop that takes you to the start of the Caminito del Rey. And when we get out of the Caminito, you are brought back less than 5 minutes walk to the hotel. So in that sense it’s very convenient. We had a lovely breakfast. The restaurant was not open because it’s not high season at the moment, but we found a great alternative within 5 min walk. If you have a car you can drive around for other restaurants with a view. The best aspect for me was the lady who was at the reception and breakfast etc. She was very friendly, gave us a lot of tips about what to visit in the area and I just overall enjoyed talking to her :) Thank you again! We had a lovely stay.

Navigation to the hotel is a bit tricky. But it is in a mountains so quite understandable.

The location is perfect if you are going to the Caminito del Ray. The hotel is really small and cozy so you fell like at home. Staff is firiedly and welcoming

We loved everything about it, but we were disappointed that the bar/restaurant was closed on the evening that we were there.

Can't rate this place highly enough, just a magical experience, truly exceeded our expectations, it felt like I was in the heart of Spain with stunning peaceful scenery everywhere, if you want anything large brash and modern don't stay here. There are only 4 rooms but it's very clean, decorated individually and tastefully, we hope to return in the future to this special little place.

This one was a late minute booking, pretty much our first choice to spend a couple of days at El Chorro. As soon as we walked in, we knew we've made the right choice. Can't thank enough Alex, Popi and Isabel for their amazing hospitality and for making us feeling like home. The food was also great, showing that they care for what they cook and respect for the produce. Thanks for the trip to Ardales Alex, the wait for the Cod Pil-Pil was worth it. What a couple of days!!!! Thank you!!!!

We did last minute booking and check in, owner had almost empty place, but have waited for us till almost 9pm. Staff is very supportive, food was excellent. Location is also very comfortable, just at the end of the Caminito del rey, so you can get a cold beer at your room few minutes after the trip. Environment around hotel is beautiful - plenty possibilities for other trips especially for hiking and climbing, mountains are just few hundred meters away.

The hotel personal tell us incorrect information about the train schedule and therefore had to look for other solutions to get to Caminito del Rey. It is safer to go to the station and look at the list yourself🤣

We were there on a colder day (around 13°) and there was a lot of condensation in the room, our clothes even got a bit damp overnight. The room is not soundproof at all, in the morning we could hear other guests having breakfast 1 floor under us.

Great location, room looks much nicer than on the pictures, Tv has Netflix, the bed covers were great and warm even though it was quite cold.
