Hard to say much. I only stayed there one night then I had to catch a morning ferry to Fuertaventura. Looked very clean and nice. It's located about 10-15min walk from the sea promanade. There isn't much to do around the neighborhood.

My room was ground floor facing the street so I had the curtains closed most of the time which made the room a bit dark but as I was moslty out exploring and enjoying the good weather it did not matter too much.

Location was great. Close to bus station to get to city cente of Las Palmas, 10 min walk to the beach and restaurants, 5 min walk to supermarket. The accomodation was cleaned regularly and the host was flexible regarding my check-in time. I arrived early and was let into my room as it was already cleaned and ready.

I didn't like having to leave

I was in need of peace, calm, beauty and inspiration. El Rincón de los Artistas provides all these, and so much more besides. It is an oasis. My stay there was perfect in every way.

No so fantastic. I had problems with the app checking in. It wanted a photo of the front cover of my passport, but when it scanned, it could not find a face. It had clearly been set up for European identity cards. I arrived at the airport and got a coach to the yellow bus station in Las Palmas. I then got a number 12 bus to the underground bus and coach station in Santa Catalina. I then got a 33 bus to the bus centre close to the address. I had difficulty finding the address because there was no number, or name on the building, and no host in the building. I had to enter the code. I found my room and I was initially very pleased. It was across from the kitchen, and opened on to an inner courtyard. The locks on the door are flimsy and primitive. I was exhausted from my journey including a four hour 6:00 am flight. I was slightly confused by the time difference (Canary Islands v. Spain & Google etc). I did not put the fan on initially. My room was hot and stuffy, with no windows, other than the one that opened out onto the central dining area. Also, the old buildings in Las Palmas are quite poorly constructed, and I could hear the next door neighbours through the wall. Although everything looked very nice, I was not impressed by some of the fittings. The lock on the bathroom door broke.

Good Location Cafes and shops near by. Central area. Close to the main tourist beach. Close to small bus hub. Interesting neighbourhood. I only popped up to look at the sun lounges on the roof. If I had been staying longer I would have made more use of them.

We had the ensuite room on the first floor. All was perfect and clean, bottle of wine a nice gesture.

The bed was a bit creaky and not overly comfortable. Location feels slightly edgy, be careful walking back late.

The decor is lovely, looks new, fresh and very stylish. The host was very helpful and there was even a free bottle of wine in the room. Just a 10 min walk to the top of Playa de Las Canteras. A very smooth process.

Walking distance from the ferry, in a quiet part of the town with a nearby supermarket. There's a shared kitchen and a terrace on the roof. Rooms are adequate but not too much space

My room was next to the gate and people just slammed the gate independently of the time late evening, night or early morning. But this is not the place's fault, just inconsiderate behaviour I guess.

The shower cannot last long, I was tried to wash my hair for twice during my 4 nights staying, both of the times after I put the shampoo the water became cold, even I waited for several minutes it didn't work. Also since the window is next to the public area, I cannot open it when I'm out or sleep, it makes the room a bit hot.

The hostel is not far from a big bus station where has many buses to the main transportation centers Santa Catalina and San Telmo. The check in was really smooth, there are iron and wash machine, as well as a kitchen. The other guests here are quite friendly and helpful.

The room itself is a bit noisy. I could hear a guy next door snoring very hard. Depending on what you plan to do the location can be a bit far off. I planned to train at the pole studio next door so for me it was perfect. For single rooms you get a very small single bed of which I fall out twice...

There was a problem with my room when I came (room not cleaned) which was a mistake made by the cleaning service and the host handled it very well because they responded fast via whatsapp and gave me another room for one night. On my last day I had huge problems to find the correct pier for my ferry (harbor is very long) because it was nowhere to be found on the internet and on my ticket. At some point I was desperate and asked the host. The host helped me and found a old facebook post where someone asked this question and because of that I had no problems to catch my ferry. So for the host I give 5 stars! So helpful! The kitchen is well equipped which I liked a lot! They even had different bins for recycling! (I couldn't find one for paper though). Supermarkets are close and they have enough space in the fridge for every travellor.

There's not much privacy in terms of noise and it gets very hot inside if you don't keep the window open or keep using the fan provided. The main thing though, which was probably only happening in our room, was that when the toilet was flushed in the room upstairs it sounded like there was a waterfall in our room.

Good location, nice room, and overall nice and clean on all the public spaces, good value for money, and the check in and out was very simple. There is a little kitchen with all the essentials and a very nice rooftop relaxing area. Also we were provided with all we needed to do one clothes wash in the washing machine which was super handy.
