location was good and the hotel receptionist was very helpful .Mar del cristal is a small town ideal for a short break as there is not a lot of bars /restaurants to chose from. The hotel is the hub of the town right next to the beach and has its own cafe bar overlooking the beach, normal restaurant and a indian restaurant all with out door seating and the food was excellent .There are only a few other bars /restaurants in the town but all of them was friendly served good food at a reasonable price ,there is also a mini spar shop 50 m away from the hotel

Great location, room was clean and spacious, easy walk to a few cafes and bars. The guy ( sorry didn’t remember his name) on reception was extremely friendly and helpful - a great asset to the place. we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return

Small but very nice, sunny apartment with large windows, right on the beach. The local restaurants and bars were also open in winter. A nice touch from the hotel: there are discounts for guests in the restaurant on the beach and in the nearest bar.

The kitchen area was not very well equipped for self catering.

The location was excellent - right on the seafront. We had booked a studio, but we were upgraded to a loft suite on arrival.

The furniture in the bathroom was in bad need of replacing. It would have been good if the room was heated for our arrival in December.

Lack of privacy as balcony 'fenced off ' from 1st floor terrace used by others who could see into the room easily - shutters could be closed but then it would be dark with no view! Great for a night's stay but very little storage space for clothes- 4 hangers and some chic baskets - if one were staying longer.

Right on sea front, wonderful views. Basic cooking and coffee making equipment provided. Generous modern white space. Supermarket next door. Comfortable bed and easy chairs. Pleasant receptionist. Lift for disabled. Parking just outside free.

We hoped to enjoy the roof decking area but unfortunately the wood is so old and rotten that my husband fell through the boards and managed to escape from a very serious injury as he was carrying glass at the time. The staff were very helpful and sealed off the entire affected area very quickly - but I do think this could have been avoided with a more strict health and safety review of this area. We pointed out many broken areas of the roof decking to them!

Superb communication with property host Geanina . Location was right on the beach and our room #120 had terrific sea views from the balcony as well as access to the guests sun deck which we used every day. The room was very spacious with a super comfortable king size bed. The room had a fully equipped kitchen for a short or long stay. There are 3 restaurants at or near the hotel so very convenient. Also a supermarket a few minutes walk from the property and the palm tree lined waterfront promenade is very near the hotel- great for early evening walks with sea breeze. It is a quaint, boutique hotel with a Caribbean vibe. We enjoyed our 4 night stay at this hotel. If we are back in the Mar De Cristal area, we would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Huge room facing the beach. All the basics are there. The kitchen in our studio room is sufficiently well equipped. Fridge is probably the coolest out of all the hotel/ apartment we hv stayed in. Easy free parking right outside the property without having to reserve. There are 3 eateries fr cafe, pizza, to Mediterranean right below and hotel guests enjoy discount eating there. Else a supermarket just 1minute walk where we grabbed some bread and cold cuts.

Unfortunately the room where we stayed has no view but there are rooms with a view to the bay. The restaurants that are next to the accommodation are great! The beach is good and was not crowded. Everybody is very friendly. Is a relaxing spot. The common terrace is very nice.
