The location, quietness of the duplex house with two terraces so our dog could be loosen and we could enjoy it too. Also the cleanness. The location is unique, on the border of a volcano crater that is a beautiful place to visit. The friendliness of Armin, the owner.

The mountain views and the quiet location near the beach suited us perfect. It's a lovely place if you want to get away from everything, however, you would need some form of transportation. We were given a choice between two apartments when we arrived and both were really nice which made it hard to choose. The apartment was spotless and it had everything we needed and the host was so nice and helpful. We also enjoyed the friendly cats. We would recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking to get away for some peace and relaxation.

Style, build quality, super clean, everything was considered I.e. dishes, pans, cutlery, towels etc. you name it, it all made sense. Honestly, I have never visited any hotel in any price class (and we have been in extreme high end) that was this clean and well provided. We also loved the pool. Absolutely above and beyond!

Really special place. Beautiful hotel fully immersed in nature. Wonderfully spacious and comfortable apartments. Fantastic swimming pool with incredible views of the mountains. Very peaceful, tranquil and energizing. Well located if you have a car to nearby towns and beaches.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like

The host was very helpful and it was a beautiful relaxing place to stay. The apartment was really comfortable, spacious and clean. We were very close to our favourite beaches. We enjoyed the peace and quiet during our stay.

Excellent spacy apartment (superior groundfloor). Equipment excellent. Comfortabel bed and bathroom. Beautifull designed. Wonderfull saltwater pool with magnificant views. Above all Armin was an excellent host.

The shower cubicle could have been bigger and with higher water pressure.

Quiet location with beautiful mountain views. Everything was very well thought out, very spacious and it was lovely to have a wood burner. Ideally located to explore the area. We would like to try it out again when it’s warmer so we can use the swimming pool which looked very inviting.

Being in the middle of nowhere, the internet is not the fastest.

A lovely place in the middle of the nature park. Armin was the perfect host, who was constantly busy making sure that his guests were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay immensely and hope to return whenever possibility should occur.

Wifi connection could have been better

The apartment was large, very clean, well appointed. The area around the house was very green and nicely planned. Swimming pool looked great, but it was too cold to give it a try.

Everything was exceptionally clean, nicely put and convenient and Armin super kind and helpful. The location is quiet but just a short car ride from a couple small towns where to have dinner or go grocery shopping.

Beautiful surroundings and garden, the super clean and refreshing pool to have a good swim. So comfortable with sun beds facing vast natural park around. I just can’t compliment enough the interior and fantastic layout of our apartment and so tasteful design our super nice and helpful host and his staff were providing. The beach is 3min drive and endless opportunities to hike , though we chose to enjoy every minute of staying at our gorgeous house

Great location, great service, super clean, fully equipped, and pet friendly. We've enjoyed every minute of our week. Highly recommended. Right next to a very nice walk to the "caldera volcanica Majada Redonda" and 10 minutes by car from San Jose and other nice locations (la Isleta del Moro and las Negras). We've stayed in December and there's a nice wood stove available with everything you need to use it, and it was very nice to have it even if the house was already quite warm thanks to radiators.
