How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very close to the train station so convenient if you’re looking to travel out of Malaga. Otherwise, it’s a bit out of the centre of the city. The staff was very nice and provided useful recommendations for our limited time in the city.

I could find some mosquitoes in the bathroom and room.

If we where going again round probably stay in closer to centre. The hotel is very close to a hop on hop off stop & also very close to main train station & Airport.
We really enjoyed our stay. The triple room was good size although I think we got a bigger triple room than normal as we got a free upgrade. Breakfast was great & close to airport. Staff where friendly & helpful.

Very comfortable hotel. I've stayed at a few Eurostars in recent times in Spain and Portugal. Rooms were a good size and spotlessly clean. Good variety of food for the breakfast option.

Great hotel located very near the Maria Zambrano station. The room was of a good size, clean, modern and had a nice private balcony. Same for the toilet, really good size, clean and with all the amenities you'd expect. The main bed was really large and super comfortable. The staff at reception were friendly and gained my kids over with some complimentary marshmallows that they have at the front desk. The gym was adequate although some machines felt a bit cheap.

Excellent location - close to bus station and to historical center. Staff are friendly and helpful. Very comfortable beds. Room is quite big for three person. Breakfast and diner are tasty. The car parking is close to hotel and seems can be booked without any problem.

Nothing much really. If I had to say, the hair dryer was a bit filthy, which seemed very odd because everything else was very clean.
Right next to the main train station and bus station, which had more than enough stores, cafe, and restaurants. The staffs were helpful and there were many facilities for those who plan to stay longer. A pleasant stay.

Absolutely amazing breakfast with a wonderful variety of dishes. The front desk staff were extremely professional. We were going out of town by train for 2 days and the staff offered to store our luggage at the hotel until we returned to Malaga even though we were heading to another city for the rest of our stay.

During our stay it was rainy and cold in Malaga. The room was very cold especially during night. But the air conditioner didn't work. İt was giving cold air only. This was nonsense. The wheather is 7-8 centrigrade outside and air conditioner doesn't give warm air. In the room we were under blanker
The stuff was vert kind and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel is 200 m. away from train station.
