Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThere was no English breakfast tea available in the hotel! For a 4-star hotel, this amazed me. There is no kettle in the room for hot water, and the coffee machine just dribbled. Our bathroom sink was also blocked. I would have also liked a bar within the hotel, for the price of the stay.
The room was clean and modern and the reception staff were very helpful. The hotel is also in a great location

GibraltarPlug on kettle didn't reach the plug socket, we had to put the kettle on the floor under the table to boil it. Plug sockets were all close to the floor which isn't great for us older customers. Lots of noise from bars on the Saturday night, this went on until around 6am.
The hotel was lovely, staff were fantastic. The room was really nice too.

The location is perfect in the lovely Justicia area. A stone’s throw away from great places, like Chueca- minus the noise. Couldn’t have been better. Staff were nice & friendly, room was as expected.

United KingdomI felt the room rates were overpriced. Not worth £150 per night. There was no vibe in the room it was plain simple vanilla. The rooms were not soundproof.
The property was clean and the staff were very polite and friendly. The breakfast was good. There were few pubs cafes nearby the hotel and everything is easily accessible as the metro station is very close by. We were given a bigger rooms at upper floor on making request that’s very sweet of the staff.
