Slight difference of opinion about parking charge. The website shows free parking but I was expected to pay €12 per night. This was corrected by the staff after a discussion. The website should be made clearer.

Food wasn't very good (dinner or the included breakfast); serving staff seemed very stressed. Unclear how one would get to the beach. Not alot of room out front for loading and unloading luggage.

The location, very near the motorway therefore noisy and the smell from the local burger king was strong specially because I do not like burgers

The property was clean, the room was a good size, the bathroom was perfect and the beds and pillows comfortable. The staff was lovely very attentive and kind. Fran really made an effort to help us to feel at home

Clean, spacious rooms and great staff. On the doorstep of Cancelda were we found El Carnicero!! Superb breakfast with a great choice of continental and cooked food. Highly recommended.

Just a little thing..I would love to have a drip try under the bacon on breakfast counter as The bacon was sitting in a lot of grease so I couldn't eat it..otherwise brekki fabulous

Not very cosy bar, breakfast buffet has a wide variety of choice but after a couple of days, we got fed up with the lack of taste in general

The drive up and drop off was rather difficult as it was just an unsigned pull up for two cars at a time and therefore one has to park on the street to load/unload. Hotel parking was chargeable and on-street parking limited. The front door was a large sliding glass door that was difficult to recognise as an entrance/exit as it looked just like a glass wall. WORST ASPECT: The swimming pool was surrounded by trees shedding dates and other small fruit and seed pods, which ended up in the pool with rotting bits and sodden decaying leaves. Not enticing. Sun beds were however pretty good. Most annoying for me there was only ONE English TV channel which did not work anyway! We were give a "disabled" room which were not expecting and therefore the bathroom was rather strange for a NON wheelchair user. The breakfast was OK with FRESH orange juice, turkey slices, decent cheese and fruit at least but was otherwise an unremarkable buffet, with very poor bacon and even poorer mini processed 'frankfurter' style sauages. The eggs when caught fresh were good. .Come early as later on the food became dry and unappetising.

The Spa was the main reason for using this hotel and was great although a little dated now, the staff, the cleanliness,the breakfast outside area, the unusually light and airy interior and especially corridors etc, the beds were nice and wide and reasonable mattresses, the air con was efficient, there was a suitcase unpacking area and the spacious bathroom.

No food available at lunchtime Monday after complaining the manager made a modest reduction in our overall bill. Booking.com directions not could. They need to be updated.
