We loved everything about this hotel. The staff are super friendly. The location is stunning. Our room was comfortable, clean and stylish. The breakfast is delicious. They accept dogs too.

Location itself and especially the view was extraordinary. Very nice decoration of the rooms and general areas. The staff was very helpful and kind. Superb breakfast with general and local foods anyone would like.

Internet could be better, even though I do understand this place is far away from any land lines and they are using mobile operators.

Very atmospheric and beautiful place. The hotel is directly in the same building as the lighthouse, like 50-100 meters from the ocean, with excellent rooms and a nice viewing terrace. Rooms have unique style + spectacular view from windows (we stayed in the room with the sea view). Breakfast was a good buffet.

This might be because of COVID, but they had a lot of single use items (cups, body wash, olive oil, salt packets). Given their beautiful location in nature, it would be nice if they switched to more sustainable products (i.e. washable cups, full sized/refillable body wash containers, full bottles of olive oil and salt shakers)

The place has recently been refurbished. They have taken advantage of the old lighthouse structure, but completely update the rooms with really interesting touches (wireless charging, great shower, comfy beds). The location is incredible - right on the coast. A perfect spot to walk along the beautiful white sand beaches, watch the sunset over the Atlantic and see the stars. With their little tavern, there is no need to leave the area. A perfect retreat from the world!

Passers by are curious and sometimes try to look into the rooms, the hotel is aware and is trying to look for a solution, we were also warned on our first night so we were aware of making sure to close the blinds.

Views, staff, decoration, cleanliness was second to none! The hotel Faro de Lariño is such an experience, I would recommend anyone looking for a romantic stay, or just a unique experience to go there.

The hotel was completely without charm or personality. There was no one on reception when we arrived and no message of where to find someone. The staff were obliging but not especially friendly. The room although quirky and modern was totally impractical. 6 coat hangers and nowhere else to put your clothes. The shower didn’t drain properly so each time it was used the bathroom got flooded. The indoor breakfast space was cramped, made worse by having a TV on. The breakfast provided was uninspiring and basic. Quite out of kilter with the cost of staying at the hotel. There wasn’t anywhere to sit and relax around the hotel. One chair in the bedroom but no comfortable outside seating. There was a big lounger at the back of the hotel but it was falling apart and no cushions were put out. The lighthouse is a tourist destination and unsurprisingly people come to look around it. This means that you feel very on show - people were able to look into the bedroom and bathroom with ease. And finally the hotel wasn’t especially clean. The main parts were clean but the lights by the bed, the internal window frames and the panel behind the bed were all covered in dust.

Great location - sea and sunset views (in some of the rooms) and a short walk to a lovely sandy beach. On nice days you can eat breakfast on the terrace at the front of the hotel which was nice.
