Communication with the owners/management was okay but could be better. They sent out mainly standard messages and only after asking specific questions, I received all the information I needed. Those replies came promptly though! There was only one butter knife in the kitchen..

After reading a few rather bad reviews, I didn't have the highest expectations. But I was surprised by how nice and cosy the apartment (B09) was. Location is excellent, very close to the smaller northern beaches of Cotillo and various restaurants just across the street. A very good choice for a single traveler or a couple, especially for a surf trip. At least I got excellent value for my money.

Poorly equipped kitchen utensils. (Handle nearly off very small saucepan; (I managed to borrow a screwdriver from a friend to fix this). One very large family sized saucepan of little use to two people; very small frying pan, initially minimal cutlery although that was later resolved, no wine glasses, no sink or basin plug, no washing up bowl.. Having friends out there we were able to borrow other items needed, plus we made up the shortfall by buying items from the 'Dragon Coins shop. Before leaving we returned all items borrowed to our friend but left washing up bowls that we'd bought. Flat clean on arrival, bedding and two sets of shower/hand towels provided. Cleaner arrived unexpectedly on the first Tuesday and changed bedding but not towels (OK we had two sets). Second Tuesday friendly cleaner brought clean bedding and towels plus 2 extra dining knives. No further visits from cleaner or replacement bedding/towels for the rest of our stay (17 nights). We were quite happy to keep the apartment clean ourselves but bedding and towels we could not provide. Basin tap in the shower room leaked, flooding the floor twice. (Eventually found that by keeping tap off in the hot position the leak could be reduced.) Hot water boiler would occasionally leak and drip down onto the work surface, left a bowl underneath overflow tap to catch the drips. Repeatedly sent WhatsApp messages to the phone number we'd been given at the start by Yazmin - no response at all, (other than automatic reply in Spanish.. Just hope that some of these issues were addressed before the next guests arrived.

Loved the apartment and location. Loved the large 'grassy' terrace with great views of over the barren terrain with great sunrises over the mountains.

the neighbors as we had a 5yr well behaved little girl with us who cried one afternoon for about 20 mins and they were complaining also the neighbor walked into our apartment without knocking and they blocked our door way with there bikes. there was no info pack which tells u the Wi-Fi code or rules but maybe this was online. i just know from experience all info is in the apartment.

The bed is very small. It can barely fit 2 ppl. Even tho the place has a balcony- it’s so close to the other building that we didn’t feel comfortable using it. Please note that this is more like a studio, without a separate room to sleep/ more like a semi-room. The bed is located by the window that is facing a hallway/ passage and it can be pretty loud when other guests are entering the property. I spent 3 weeks on the island, and unfortunately even tho I paid for this place the most (compare to 2 other places), it was the most uncomfortable place.

The property is located a minute away from the beach. Very close to all the bars, restaurants and you are basically at the beach. The host is very easy to communicate with. Wifi is ok- had to work during the stay, and the internet connection is good enough.

No reception. There 3 weeks and no clean sheets so we did our own. No help to enter the property on arrival as the instructions to get access were wrong. No answer ever from the emergency number. Balcony overlooked by next door apartment and had access to a stairs leading to another empty apartment so was insecure. Overall it's tiny and the mattress was stained and the sofa filthy. Not recommended

I go the keys ok, but there was a problem getting into the apartment as the door barrel was faulty and when you tried to open the lock it moved and i was unable to get in without a struggle. I reported this as if it wasn't for neighbours helping i would have not been able to get into the apartment. I reported this and nothing was done. i ended up fixing it myself by putting tape across the latch so it didn't lock me out again. There were no iron facilities as stated in the description. the kettle lid was faulty and kept flipping up, i nearly burnt myself a couple of times also reported and nothing done. No extra linen left for a 21 night stay

I do not like writing bad reviews, but this time I have to. We booked room for 4 guests, but it was ready only for 2 people. We contacted every number possible but they completely ignored us! So two of us had to sleep first night completely without ANY blankets on sofa, freezing! (see the photo) The second night we just got one more blanket without sheet! So it was really not comfortable, they didn’t care we paid for our accommodation for 4 people, not 2. They didn’t even apologise for inconvenience, not even mentioning we should get some refund for that… So overall we had really really bad experience and can not recommend it at all.

No socked for pluging in television, nightlamps and basically nothing, just no sockets, no bulbs in any lights, mouldy shower, shower door broken, terrasse basement rotten dirty. No attention from agency or booking.com .....

I would not recommend this place whatsoever! It was as hot as Satan's armpit and like staying in a fishbowl!

Nothing! the place was awful. The photos are not a true representation of the place and they use photos of other apartments!!! (my photos look nothing like the ones they advertise with!) The apartment was completely overlooked on all sides, so much so, that you were almost sat on the pavement on a main road. We went in August and although we knew there was no air-conditioning it was way too hot. Usually we would open the door and windows but we were not able to do this due to privacy issues and people being able to see right in. The curtains have to be kept closed which made the place hotter. It was dirty, and neglected and the outside furniture was dirty and broken so not useable. The sink was blocked so water flooded the bathroom, the shower door was hanging off and there was nowhere to store clothes so we couldn't unpack. There was a wardrobe but not one coat hanger! There were parties in the apartment below, next door and next door to them were going on until 6:00am so we had no sleep due to the noise. The next morning we left the place and booked somewhere else to stay. Booking.com was not much help being completely in favour of the company who are paying them a fee and not the customer who have to stay in below standard accommodation such as Flatguest Cotillo Mar

Check in was not straight forward, we had to phone to Get apartment number and key code after check in time. Then the wrong key was in the key box. Luckily the cleaners were there and were able to help us otherwise this would have been very unsatisfactory. The Wi-Fi code was requested but received until the third day.

The main bed could be larger and more comfortable. We could also use a dishwasher. The apartments get super hot on a sunny day, there's fan in the bedroom, there could be one in the living room as well.

Well equipped apartments super close to the beach. Check-in was smooth and the landlord reacted fast to our additional requests (we lacked bedhseets and were provided with them after an hour)
