Very convenient location next to a metro station, superior room was spacious and surprisingly quiet given that it overlooked La Rambla. Great to have a terrace. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Room was quite small and basic but is probably typical at this price point for Barcelona. No Tea/coffee in room. Starting to look dated/tired.

Location is perfect base for all tourist attractions and beaches. Excellent bathroom facilities. Well soundproofed from outside, good terrace on top floor for sunbathing. Friendly, helpful staff.

Great location, rooms are a great size. We had a balcony over la Rambla which was fun to watch the action on the street. Hotel is between the gothic quarter and el born, so easy to walk everywhere and so close to la boqueria. Would stay here again.

It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room.

Central location but quiet rooms, even though we faced the the busy La Ramblas. The rumble of the metro didn't bother us at all. Clean, decently sized rooms. For a three star hotel, it did us very well.

We didn’t have warm water for part of our stay, because the radiator was off/broken. We had a balcony overlooking the side alley next to the hotel and if you looked down from the balcony there were many homeless people sleeping and abusing drugs/alcohol. We know this is beyond the hotel’s control, but it still affected our stay.

The hotel is in a very central location on the busy Ramblas street. We easily walked to many main attractions. The room was clean and comfortable.

There were smoking rooms on our floor and if I would have known I would have requested to be far away since I have a sensitivity. Some more transparency around that would have been better.

A pleasant hotel in the heart of Barcelona, right in front of the Theater Liceu, with polite and always present reception that offered us a spacious rooms with a nice small terrace looking over La Rambla.

There was no kettle or tea/coffee making facilities. We even bought a electric kettle and coffee etc milk ONLY to find that the electric kettle did not work. Asked the reception and they checked. Surprisingly it worked in the shop and now in Doha Qatar....very suspicious why it never worked in the room..something not right resulting in spending nearly a hundred euros over 6 days for tea and coffee from outside. Definitely something has been done in the rooms for the kettle to not work.

Sound carried pretty well -- I could hear folks in the garden area outside my room (even with all windows closed) and could hear folks talking (and on one night, could hear snoring) in the rooms next to me. When folks were talking, the sound coming through to my room was not loud enough to make out what they were saying. I'm a deep sleeper so this wasn't an issue, especially once I fell asleep. There was some peeling paint on the ceiling of the shower as well. These definitely weren't dealbreakers for me, but feel worth noting.

The staff were all very friendly. I arrived in the morning and they were able to store my bag until my room was ready; they'd put my bag in my room by the time I returned in the late afternoon. The beds were comfortable enough, but weren't exceptionally comfortable either. (I've found that many of the hotels I've stayed in throughout Europe, especially in this price range, have similar style beds -- they are on the thinner side; they do the job but aren't exceptionally comfortable either.) The cleaning staff cleaned the room every day (except days I had the do not disturb sign up) and did a great job. The location is great -- it's easy to walk to a lot of the main Barcelona attractions from Flor Parks' central location on Las Ramblas (which is a very touristy area). They were able to put me in a room facing away from Las Ramblas (my windows faced a garden patio), which I imagine was much quieter than a room facing Las Ramblas would have been. The room felt very clean and comfortable and had plenty of space for me as a solo traveler.

We arrived early after a cruise and checkin is not until 3pm. Reception assured us they would try to get us a room as quickly as possible and after a short wait, a member of staff came to get us to advise a room was ready. This was very much appreciated and they were very friendly and welcoming. The room, whilst furnishing was basic (not a big deal) was very bright, clean and the bathroom spacious.
