The dining room was fine, but a bit impersonal. It felt more like a large cafeteria.

The location is excellent. Everything is right on the doorstep .Beautiful scenery and peaceful atmosphere. Staff are very welcoming and professional. Good size swimming pool with plenty of sunbeds. The room is a good size and bed very comfy. Towels changed regularly. Plenty of parking available also you get two complimentary tickets for boat trip across river to beach at Atlantic ocean . Really enjoyed stay

Breakfast buffet not as good as last year. I was offered a free gift for my birthday and a courtesy late check out until 3pm but only once we had left!

We asked to change rooms as the first room did not meet our expectations. The reception staff upgraded us free of charge to a superior sea view room. The view from our room on the fifth floor was spectacular. The hotel staff were all very helpful. The pool areas are great . We were there at the start of April so the pool was still a bit "Fresh" but that was to be expected. The food was as expected for a buffet style and for the amount we paid. The hotel is perfectly situated to enjoy the traditional fishing village, stunning beaches via the small ferry, access to the natural wet land walks and the purpose built small commercial centre on it's doorstep with a variety of restaurants, bars and boutique shops.

large facilities and very near to the village "el rompido". Nice golf course at 5 min drive. The room was nice, large terasse. the bar was nice. A lot to see in the neighborhood. We flew to Faro.

On the second night we were woken up by noisy neighbour's, once we complained to reception, they sorted it out. We were moved the following day.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Nice room. Loved the indoor pool.

Everything was great about the hotel. Our problem was lack of internet in our room. We mentioned it and they did try to sort it out but still no internet.

Typical 2000' worn out hotel with lack of maintenance. Low quality food (buffet style dinner). The room was missing basic items like a kettle, glasses tea/coffee. TV remote was not working. Cold water in the indoor pool. Broken elevators.

This is a beautiful building in a lovely village with a prominent lighthouse and natural park surrounding the area. The staff were really welcoming and there was a safe place to leave our bikes. The location is gorgeous with great views over the village. The outdoor pool was lovely and breakfast was great. The WiFi was brilliant and a great choice of TV channels.

Trying to drop off my elderly disabled mother to the entrance of the hotel each time was a nightmare! The hotel staff need to ask and insist clients drop off their luggage and park in the designated slots which are only a few yards away and which were always free because certain people think it’s ok to stop offload and then saunter into reception and checkin knowing I am sitting in my car behind them unable to drive off! 30 mins, 20 mins and sometimes longer. One couple even sat on the edge of the boot and changed their shoes before going in to the hotel and checking in glancing my way then ignoring me. Despite asking the staff to get them to move nothing was done. This is selfish and unreasonable behaviour of mobile adults who were just lazy and felt entitled to block the road. The staff said they won’t move dispute asking them so the staff should refuse checkin until they do so not leave other customers in the heat waiting . I didn’t do this when I dropped my mother , I let her out with her mobility walker, moved the car to a parking spot and went back to help her !

It can be very busy and very noisy around the main pool as a result of all the activities organised by staff. The area's back from the pool towards the hotel can get quite scruffy and the sunloungers are a bit tired and I need or replacement/repair The hotel has additional charges to use the in-room safe and to park a. Given the price of the rooms this feels like a rip-pff and not what most other hotels of this rating would do. There is no happy-hour drinks price, (which explains why the hotel bar is often empty until very late in the evening The buffet has a great selection but it's repetitiive if you're there for a week

Very welcoming reception and good explanation of facilities. Easy (paid) parking although told of free parking available on street. Given beach towel cards and a free ferry ticket. Lovely views from the very comfortable room. Relaxing atmosphere in the restaurant with a really good food choice .

I DO NOT WANT MY NAME ON ANY PUBLICITY IT WASXA PRIVATE HOLIDAY NOT PART OF BOOKING.COM PUBLICITY One point the aircon was turned to cold only from 3 May so was not possible to warm the bedroom for the hours of very cool weather. Above refers to pay wifi. The wifi was free.
