Clean, modern, well positioned in the town. Loved the cake provided a very friendly homely gesture. Nothing seemed to much trouble. The gentleman (sorry I didn’t remember his name) who met us was welcoming and helpful. He spoke excellent English which was appreciated.

It was all wonderful!

The location, the host, the village, the proximity from San Sebastian, it was all wonderful! The accommodation is new, clean and very well appointed. The coffee and cake were a lovely surprise. We visited the Balenciaga Museum at the end of the street, Brilliant! The Church in the village, breathtaking! But don't tell anyone this is our new favorite secret escape!

We originally chose Getaria and this apartment as a less pricy option than San Sebastian, but ended up falling in love with this gorgeous village and equally brilliant accommodation. The apartment is bright, airy, clean and very nicely decorated. Feels like home right away. Don't hesitate - just go!

Getaria is well-located, about 25 minutes from San Sebastian. This property is owned by wonderful and welcoming hosts who are knowledgeable about the area and what it offers. As well as Spanish and Basque, they speak excellent English, which was a bonus for us. The apartment we stayed in, Hiro, is a spacious studio that is extremely well-appointed and tastefully decorated. The hosts have thought of everything in the apartment and even provide Netflix. They also offer a communal coffee station with homemade treats and have yoga mats and a washing machine available for use. If you have a car, we’d recommend the parking, which is a secure garage next door.

Shanti warmly welcomed us upon arrival and explained everything about the property while also giving us a bunch of recommendations of places to visit and also eat out at. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found everything we needed, also to cook for the meals we had in our appartment. We were very cozy, had plenty of sunlight which for us is a very important aspect, walked everywhere in Gettaria easily and really winded down which is exactly what we needed. The whole property is very clean and nicely decorated, the laundry facilities are perfect for families like us and the car park option proposed was was ideal. We highly recommend staying here!

Getaria is a small town, but it has many good restaurants in the evenings and it is fun to stroll around. The host was very nice and helpful and gave us lots of great recommendations. The flats are very nice, modern and clean. There is actually nothing missing. There is a small well stocked supermarket 50m across the road. Each flat has its own parking space in an underground garage a few meters from the flat. The flat is highly recommended.
