Dinner limited to buffet in restaurant, lacking option for light meal in evening. This needs to be rectified. Very limited options outside of buffet restaurant. Reception staff helpful but inexperienced and often language barrier. I nearly missed my flight as taxi booked by reception never came. Waiting 20mins for taxi and checked with reception, they never notified me of problem with taxi. 2 other families had similar experience.

You can see that it is an old hotel and aging away. Could use an update. Add some palm trees on the pool floor. The hotel is in a mountain, so you need to take taxis and busses if you want to get out. The hike up and down the mountain side is ok for one time, but not everyday. The hotel should have a free beach shuttle to Amadores. You need to take 2 elevators to get down to the road level promenade to walk to town (5mins) or Amadores beach (10mins). If you want to chill a whole week at the hotel then it’s ok, otherwise a pain to use those elevators and taxis also the time to get out and about.

The infinity pool has an amazing view of the ocean! Many Loungers and places to site on the pool floor. Ping pong and Billiards by the pool ok. The pool bar serves drinks and cocktails. The buffet for breakfast had a lot of variety and good quality. Staff are helpful and friendly. Building 3 is quiet, has ocean view, has access to restaurants, lobby, rooftop pool, etc. Free bottles of water daily in the room.

we stayed all inclusive & we found that not all the food & drink in the hotels pool bar was included I think there should also be staff around the pool as the rules were not been enforced

Poor lighting on corridors at night. My husband fell in water on the floor that we didn't see in the dark. Reported to staff, with only one member of staff asking how he was. Poor entertainment, repetitive and unexciting. There's not much to see in surrounding areas. It's definitely a hotel to go for a restful holiday

The only issue is the location which means getting taxis to the beach or using lifts which are limited. This can be a bit tiresome.

Not being able to reserve a table for 6 at meal times as I was travelling with my elderly parents and brother and sister-in-law and niece it was difficult finding tables together and the lack of English channels on the tv if we retired early in the evening

Staff was very disappointing and in some instances we have found them very unprofessional.

The accommodation is really beautiful, probably was one of the best view I have seen, balcony facing directly to the ocean. With 10 mins walk you can reach Beaches and restaurants and shops. Room was big and Bright

I might have been slightly unlucky as I got a room next to the cleaning ladies storage, so from early morning until noon it was quite noisy. However with the earplugs it was ok ;) Since it is such a big hotel, it was also very loud in the restaurant with staff sometimes cleaning your table before you actually finished your meal. I recommend eating at the terrace whenever possible - less noise and a beautiful view.

Perfect location - a stunning view on the ocean from the cliff and elevators to bring you to the seaside. Once you’re down, it is only a couple of minutes in both directions (Puerto Rico & Amadores) to get to the beach, marina and shops. Food - a lot of choice, fresh and changing. The hotel itself - huge but nice. Infinity pools were one of the best spots to spend time for me. Very friendly and helpful staff. Also, the hotel is pet-friendly and everyone was very nice to my dog there :)

The entertainment was a bit hit and miss. Some nights better than others.

Our 2nd stay at Gloria Palace. Our request for a room in Block 3 was granted which we really appreciated. The room was clean and spacious. The food was excellent and all staff were polite and welcoming. The swimming pool was wonderful and there were plenty sun loungers available, although a great many were reserved with towels by people who didn't bother to use them.
