How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The room/bathroom doesn't have great ventilation so it gets a bit stuffy after using the shower and the hair dryer did not work. The walls are a bit thin, so bring earplugs for sleeping.
The location is great and the beds are super comfy. It was nice to have the extra patio space to unwind after a long day exploring.

No door in the shower so bathroom floor gets really wet

The bed wasn't comfortable at all..The mattress wasn't soft.It was hard trying to rest or to fall asleep In the bathroom,the lavatory had some issues to drain
Location is very good and also size of the room . There was also an Nexpreso coffee machine and some cookies.That was nice

The shower drain kept on coming off whilst I was in the shower and the hair dryer stopped working mid way through. It was also a little hard to find at first but luckily the staff were very kind and guided me through the process.
The man at the front desk was incredibly kind and helpful. He guarded my bag for multiple hours so I could explore Barcelona a bit more! The windows were large and allowed for a lot of beautiful natural light. It was decently close to everywhere I wanted to go!

No ventilation in the bathroom, no mini bar, except for a coffee machine, no 24 front desk (although it says so). Hair dryer out of order, noone at the reception to ask for another till the next morning (message I sent was never answered), meaning I had to sleep on my wet hair throughout the night.
Great location, comfortable beds, quite clean. Polite staff.

Small but clean rooms with all the necessary things for a sleepover. Located on Paseo de Gracia, one of the main streets in Barcelona city centre. You stay here for the location, as the rooms are great for sleeping without any extra luxuries. Very quiet and nothing that disturbed our sleep.

The rooms are not sound proof and not buggy friendly very narrow and confusing to find the stay. No proper directions or sign boards. No check-ins available early in the morning or late nights
It's in the city center and good for shopping and a lot of Christmas lights Cosy stays in an old refurbished building.

The accommodation is located in a central location that allows you to visit all of Barcelona without difficulty. Clean and comfortable room. The guys at the reception very helpful and kind.

So amazing that 2 hair dryer can not used, really terrible! Suggest to add more door locker not just electric.

There was no person at the reception all the time. The hotel is on one floor, without any sign and is difficult to find it.
Nice and clean room. Τhe staff was friendly even though they didn't speak English, they tried to serve us.

The walls are too thin and you can hear people talking from other room. I had a bad situation with a family with little child screaming and crying loud. Annoying.

No negatives, however it was a little hard to find when we arrived but that could have been because it was late at night. Would have loved a recommendation on somewhere to eat but the staff member disappeared once check in was complete- so ask all the questions before shown to your room.
This property is in a great location and has a lift! The room was simple, clean and the aircon was on and the room was cold when we checked in which was amazing considering the heat and humidity.
