Neighbors were sometimes noisy (stomping or watching tv loudly).

The host was nice and welcoming. The apartment is shared with the host and there is a big room with a double bed connected to a smaller room with an additional bed. The location is on a quiet street and the bars and the crowds are just around the corner. The shower was fully equipped with shampoo, conditioners and body wash, and there were also other toiletries available.

Tania was an amazing host and really looked out for us during our stay. Tania was incredibly generous and kind and gave us lots of ideas for our stay in Valencia. The property was in a fantastic location and easily walking distance from central València. The property was extremely clean and facilities were good.

Nice place in city center.

Friendly lady that runs the place. She doesn't speak English, but goes out of her way to help. Location is great, a nice area with lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. If you want full privacy, this is not the place for you though. The lady lives there as well and so you share the facilities with her (though she makes way if she even thinks she is occupying something you'd might want to use).

The location is quite loud because there are many bars around. You have to remember that's the private house and you may be asked to obey some rules.

The host was very kind and ready to help. Even though our Spanish wasn't good, we managed to communicate and understand each other but for sure it's better if you speak Spanish at least a bit.

No privacy at all! We didn't know that the two beds were basically in the living room of the owner. The owner herself stayed in the hall of the house with a table and a chair. If you wanted to go to the toilet, you had to pass the owner. We travelled to Valencia when the days and nights were very hot (32 C in the day). Therefore the airco was on BUT, because of the heat in the whole apartment, the owner insisted that the door from the living room stayed open. Because there was a big mirror in the opposite of the door, the owner who was sitting in the hall could see everything in the guest room! We felt watched We felt watched and my fellow traveller got very nervous and anxious because of this. On top of that there was a big hole in the wall in another corner of the open-door (sleeping/living) room which was next to the sleeping room of the owner. This way, the cool air from the airco in our room could circulate throughout the whole apartment... Consequence was there was no privacy what so ever. And finally: the owner had the remote of the airco and consequently it stayed much too warm in the room. In the night it stayed much too warm. When we talked to the owner the next morning she lied and pretended that the airco was broke... Which wasn't true, because later on (I tried to see if I was maybe the only one with this experience) I read an old review with exactly the same experience from another guest. We didn’t stay the next days. I immediately booked a hotel room for the next days because this wasn’t a place to be able to came to rest after the warm days in Valencia.

Location in the city was fine. Room was clean.

The heating wasn't working.

The place was very neatly kept and clean. The granny, who is the owner of the property, was very sweet.

Even though Mercedes was very nice, she was way too nosy and kept invading our space. At first she told us to keep the shower short as the Government is cutting the gas (which is untrue), after every shower she cleaned the bathroom without allowing us to use it, if we left a light in the room on while we were in the same room but sitting in a different area, she would switch if off. Last but not least, she woke us up 3h before the check out as she needed to clean the room for other people to come. Also, to go to the toilet and the bathroom you have to walk past her sitting all day and evening at the table, so there's no privacy at all.

The location was good and Mercedes (the owner) was very nice. The room was clean and the beds where very comfortable.

The owner at first meeting feels like a nice older lady, but she’s very meddlesome. There is an air conditioner, but at first we were only allowed to open the windows for night (where temperature was even higher then at room). We were able to use it after two days when we said that it’s just way too hot at night and she didn’t give us a pilot but turn it on and took with her and in the morning after she woke up she turned it off. There is no such a thing like privacy. Also if you want to take a shower you’re allowed to take only very short one because she was standing outside the door waiting until you will finish because she’s turning off the gas. I’ve never in my entire life felt so uncomfortable in any places that I’ve visited.
