The location was a bit far from where we wanted to spend most of the time, so we ended up walking a lot. But really, it wasn’t a problem as there are taxis available everywhere in Madrid.

The staff was super-friendly and helpful. We received a very personal service and everyone was doing their best to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Also, the breakfast was great and the general comfort of the hotel excellent.

I love almost everything about this hotel, but the only thing is its location is a little bit far away from the downtown. And it is relatively hard to call taxi, but luckily the frontdesk helped us out!

The service was excellent. And the decoration of this whole hotel was amazing, it was the most beautiful hotel that I lived in my trip to Spain.

Beautiful hotel in Salamanca area. Really comfortable bed, which is always my 1st priority. I had a meal in the restaurant which was very nice too. A very comfortable stylish boutique hotel. This is my favourite area in Madrid to stay. I find the Centro area is very crowded and very obviously tourist with the Salamanca suburb being close, but far enough from the craziness and crowds

I often stay at this hotel. It's not aging nicely. I don't want it to be a small "Grand Hotel Budapest" . The service is worse and worse. The staff and manager have ironed out all the rough edges it is nice. I'll stay again next time.

Unfortunately, during my recent stays, I've encountered a few areas where the hotel did not meet the high standards I've come to expect. One notable issue is with the housekeeping service concerning the provision of filtered water in the rooms. It appears that, rather than providing bottled or properly filtered water, the water is simply being poured from the tap. This is a significant concern for me, as the quality of drinking water is a basic expectation of hotel service. Additionally, I've noticed a decline in the quality of the breakfast offerings and the performance of the staff working during breakfast hours. The variety and quality of food have not been up to par with previous experiences, and the attentiveness and service level of the breakfast team have noticeably diminished. These aspects have unfortunately marred my otherwise enjoyable stays, and I hope they will be addressed to ensure the hotel continues to provide the exceptional service and experience it is known for.

Throughout the years, this hotel has remained my consistent choice and favorite place to stay. The reason I keep coming back is the sense of privacy and exclusivity it offers, which is hard to find elsewhere. The hotel truly values an individual approach to each guest, making every stay here genuinely special. The staff always exceeds expectations, providing personalized services that make my visit unparalleled. Their attention to detail and commitment to making my experience unique deserves special thanks. View was not the best in my room, overlooking the street with other people from the building in front that could see you. They offer filtered water to guest which taste like bleach. I asked for bottled water and they brought a couple in my room which was nice. I ordered a desert I did not like as not as described on the menu so I sent back, they charged it to me. When I asked they removed it but I had to ask. I asked the hotel to make a reservation at Amazonico one night, they said they did and when I showed up the restaurant could not find my reservation from my name or from the hotel name. Not a lot of "ambiance" in this street. Hotel restaurant was empty although chef was good.

The style of the hotel is super cosy, I liked the fireplace at the reception and coffee spot before the restaurant, very chic. Room decoration was perfect and relaxing, they offered a box of sweets on the bed which was cute. Bathroom design looks great and I enjoyed the shower products. Loved the size of the bed and comfy sheets.

This is an excellent hotel in a well located area of Madrid, the service is very good, staff is helpful and kind. The place itself is very nice, has an old glamour and the room I got was extremely nice, perfect size. Breakfast is excellent too, food quality and service to tables. The price is quite high but this is a hotel treat.
