Lack of electrial sockets in room. One beside bed which had a lamp plugged in and just one other which was awkwardly located. An extension gang socket could solve the problem.

The cleanliness was not the best and the bedsheets were just layers, not an actual duvet. In the shower there were no toiletries. And the walls are not very soundproof.

The rooms were tidy and the person working at the reception was great. You are given a towel. Also the location cannot be any better, it's very central.

There was a stair right front of my door and when I went to my room at my first 2 days I always stumble on it, even when was light or dark, even when the staff told me to pay attention for this. Maybe I was clumsy, but I think it will be recommended to highlight this stair somehow, for example put a visible tape or led lights to this stair. My private bathroom was small, it is not recommended for a very tall person around 2 meters. Despite of these peculiarities, I would be happy to stay in the same place in the future.

The staff were very kind and helpful. It was a pleasure to meet with them when I left my room or arrived to the hostel. They did not bother me but every day they took short questions to satisfy my needs and lacks, if I had any. We spoke and understood each other in English. The room was nice and clean. The hostel is well-located in the center, everything is so close.

The location was excellent and the bedroom was very clean and spacious. There was a little desk, bedside lamps, and a unit for hanging clothes, and room to lay out our packs. The bed was very comfy, and the room was well heated as it was February. Staying in the double room with ensuite at the end of the hall, we found it to be quiet and weren't disturbed by others. We were provided with 3 keys - the front door of the building which was an entry shared by other owners or accommodation providers in the building, a key to the main door of Casa de Huéspedes Prada which operated on the first floor, and within which there are multiple rooms for guests, and then the key to our individual room. Although the bathroom was very compact, we weren't disappointed as we had paid a very moderate price for such clean, well placed accommodation, and had also expected the smaller bathroom from having read other reviews. Additionally, we had the bonus of a comfortably large room which was more important than a large bathroom. The only hiccup with the accommodation was finding the entry buzzer upon arrival. We were at the correct address, and the sign was on the wall, but there was no clear marking (that we could see) against the numerous entry buzzers next to the door. Fortunately I had a local phone sim, and was able to call the owner who responded quickly and opened the main front door for us remotely.

Was just slightly confusing at first when I found it, what bell to press. Maybe a little bit better signage.

It is in a nice central location, walking distance from Puerto del sol in the centre of Madrid. The rooms are good size. You have a communal toilet/ shower, not far from the rooms. They allow late check in as I arrived gone midnight. For the price you pay it's good value.

The bed and the shower were very small. I found the hotel nice, but I think it was a little expensive (prices may vary depending if you are staying on weekends or weekdays I think) regarding the fact that you could hear every noise from the hall and the window lead to a small cort where a ventilator (from an AC I guess) was running from time to time.

The staff was very nice and the room clean and was also cleaned every day if requested.

Tiny bathroom. Thin walls (you can hear everything from other rooms and reception). In the small balcony there were 2 a/c units so it was difficult to stand.
