it could be better to improve the noise isolation. the nearest shop is 15 min away which of course is no fault of the hostel, just for information.

close to the beach El Sardinero, bakery next to the hotel - easy for coffee and breakfast, friendly staff, cleaning every day, toiletteries, good value for the money, restaurant nearby, vending machine for drinks and chocolate snacks

- you could hear the people that lived above moving around ( but this is not Hostal La Torres fault) and it didn’t not bother me or my family. I would stay again !

- the staff were very helpful and helped us lots - The location was close to supermarkets, the city centre and the beach -it was clean and comfortable - the Main Street was quiet - the bed was very comfy - the shower pressure was very good !

Nice location very close to El Sardinero and all the facilities. Simple but clean room but with everything you need for a short stay: toiletries, heating, etc. Very friendly person on reception, provided local tips and recommendations what to visit in the city

Friendly, informative host. Room was ideal for single traveller. Clean and comfortable. Hotel not too far from either city centre or beach areas, on nearby bus or walking. Local bar selling nice snacks and drinks. Great value for money.

The wifi was not steady in the room, but I didn't need to use it that much, so it was ok.

Simple, but clean and nice accommodation. It's close to the university, about 20 min away from the city center and 15 min from the closest beach. If you walk to the city center, it is worth doing it through the tunnel, because otherwise it's up and down the hills which is quite a hike. The staff was very helpful and the room was thoroughly cleaned daily. In the same building block, there are several cafes to have really good local breakfasts at great prices.

Shower screen didn’t work so bathroom floor flooded each time shower was used.

I could come and go as I pleased. Location was a little out of the centre but that was fine as it felt less 'touristy' more like I was in the Spain I wanted to be in. Staff very pleasant. Loved the local Bars and the Tapas!

Nasty smell! The bathroom without any ventilation so that the black mould is everywhere. The towels won't dry overnight, and when I tried to hang them in the room, the staff brought them back to the bathroom when I was away. When hanged over the shower curtain rack, they got dirty from the dust and mould. Same about the old wardrobe - the unpleasant smell of damp wood still remains on my jacket and coat and they definitely need dry cleaning now :( The room is shabby looking, with dirty walls, sticky table cloth and dirt in the corners. It would be a good place if the staff put some more effort into the cleanliness and made it look neat and taken care of. Okay for one/two nights, not recommendable for any longer.

Convenient location if you need to be in Los Castros, close to the bus stops, a 15 min walk both to the beaches and and about 25 to the center. A nice cafeteria nearby to have breakfast or lunch. Quiet area. Relatively comfortable bed. Nice staff.

The check in process was very simple, the man who helped us was very kind checking us in and made us feel comfortable. He showed us to our rooms and was always very amiable whenever we saw him. Our room was cleaned after our first night which we really were not expecting, towels changed, and you are given vanity kits, shampoo, shower gel. The room was spacious, and the beds were comfy. Overall, you had everything you needed for a budget short stay.
