How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Shower drain is slow, small room (difficult to open luggage), noisy streets

The room was of very, very small size. Hardly any place to move.
It was in the main area of Triana. The staff was good.

The only drawback was the fact that the room (although double) was really small, it could barely fit one small hands-on luggage so I had to keep my checked-in big luggage closed. Otherwise everything was great.
The hotel was great, bed was comfortable and the shared area was really cosy. The room was really clean and they provided clean towels upon request. Also, the location is great with many options, including stores, restaurants and really close to the center.

The bathroom was rather small and probably could do with a refurb soon, but shows pressure was very good!
The room was an okay size, enough for two people and had a nice quiet street view. Staff was very friendly and greeted us each time we past the reception. Easy to check in.

The double bedroom was small and the en suite shower was very small. It was difficult to shower. The room had no glasses for water or anything. Even with the window closed and the blinds shutters totally closed there was quite a lot of noise from the street below.
The location in Triana. Lovely local area of Seville.

We had an exterior room on the ground floor. It was noisy. Especially since it was one of the busiest weeks In Seville.
The staff was extremely nice and helpful, especially the lady named Beatrice. The location was great close to bars and restaurants. The neighbourhood Triana, is nice and special. The room was clean although basic.The beds were comfortable. The price was reasonable. The hotel itself was nicely decorated. We will come again.

The room was very small. Only an overhead light in the bedroom. Shower stall very small.
Excellent location! Great restaurants nearby. Authentic flamenco show 10 minutes away. .Easy access to Seville. Night staff spoke good English. The lobby and stairs had charming decor.

The room was really small, with no space to put your luggage on. The room was furnished very minimalistic. Also the bathroom was really small. The price was a bit high for the comfort that you get.

The room smelled like someone smoked inside and it was not sound proofed at all. It was noisy at night because we had a room on the first floor on the street side.
It was in a really nice area.

We had a room in the first floor which was a bit small but did the job. My husband and i were there for the weekend only and were only back during bed time. Also, the walls are too thin and you can hear people talking in the hallways and reception. I used ear plugs during sleeing so wasn’t really bothered.
Very friendly staff, clean hotel, extremely good value for money.

It really is a lovely little hotel and even though we were on the second floor it could get a little noisy. We know the area so came prepared with earplugs so it wasn't a problem for us. We would certainly use it again
Great location just round the corner from the centre of Triana. The hotel has been recently refurbished and has been done very nicely.
