This is quite a small but delightful place to stay in Ciudad Rodrigo. Perfect location. It was immaculately clean. The staff are lovely, most welcoming. Great breakfast. We would 100% recommend a stay.

Breakfast - it's not really a buffet, you have to ask for each separate item to be served to you. Probably a remain from the covid times, but totally inconvenient and not necessary anymore

The bedroom is very comfortable and clean. The area is very quite and with space for free parking. The breakfast was very well served and with Good quality. Really surprising.

There is no dedicated parking lot or garage, but there was plenty of on-street parking available both in front and behind the hostal. It would have been nice to have a full-length mirror in the room.

Very nice for a hotel - outstanding for a "hostal"! Room was fairly basic, but nicely and newly decorated. It was spacious and very clean with a comfortable bed and good pillows. Breakfast was a nice selection of buffet items prepared and served by a friendly and energetic staff. Good location, just a few minutes walk from the city walls.

Not found something that I didn't like but to say something.. to give them an 11 over 10 it would be nice to have an small fridge.

Super, super,super clean. I couldn't find a particule of dust in a corner. My congratulations to the cleaning people. Everything was new. When I say everything I mean forniture, accesories, comodities, TV, Windows, Shower, bathroom... everything. Good to have a big safe that fits my laptop. Espacious room and nice desk an confortable chair to work with my laptop. Electric blinds. Very quite place. Located in a very quite area only 10 minutes walking to the historic town. I easily found parking place near to the place.The recepcionist very kind and provided excellent advice on places to visit. She was prowd of her heritage and promoted her town very well. Breakfast was good, standard buffett served by the staff in a very clean area. The best qulity/price ratio within this area.

Everything was perfect!!

The hostal was completely new renovated in 2022 and has facilities better than most 4-star hotels. Located 800 meters from town centre means easy free parking, quiet nights and an easy walk to the interessting old town through a small park. The park has free public fittness facilities. We have booked a guided tour (tourist office by Internet) in the town which was a good way to know this interesting town. We saw no other foreign visitors in the town and the general price level was low and restaurant quality high. Our arrival to the hotel was unexpected delayed to the middle of the night i.e. after the receptions was closed at 10 PM. We contacted the hotel in advance by Whatsapp and they explained us how to enter the hotel via a code to the key box at the entrance door. It worked fine. Elevator, handicap access. Very clean. The breakfast was good compared to the price. We had toasted bread with tomato, a small cake, coffee with milk and a glass of orange juice, a typical Spanish breakfast. Staff were friendly, attentive and smiling despite they often were busy. It is one of the best hotels we have stayed in during our many visits to all of Spains 17 provinces (autonome communities).

I wished we could have helped ourselves to breakfast rather than hotel staff doing it for us-I'm sure there would be less waste due to communication difficulties that way, but really it's a small niggle.

Please don't be put off by the fact that this has Hostel as part of its name. It was just lovely. We had a large bedroom with opening windows onto a small balcony. Everywhere was very clean. The breakfast was more limited than in a larger hotel but perfectly adequate and considering how cheap the hotel was, not to be wondered at. The hotel is situated on a quiet street opposite a park with free street parking outside. It is probably a 6 min walk into Ciudad Rodrigo walled city itself. Being rural Spain and our grasp of Spanish limited, we often had to resort to Google translate to communicate but everyone we met was very friendly and the hotel staff very helpful.

There are no eggs for breakfast and they don’t let you choose food yourself, only hotel workers and an awkward situation arises.

Smart, well equipped room and shower room and wonderful value for money. Staff friendly and efficient, especially the two who served breakfast in the basement. Very convenient location as it is just a walk across the park into the old town.

I didn't like the fact that the aircon was centrally controlled and I couldn't make it cold enough when I wanted to. Pillows were a little fat! But not crazily so:) Barely anything to mention, but these details could have been more comfortable. Still a 10 out of 10!

Huge, light and sunny room with 2 balconies overlooking the park. Everything brand new and super clean. Great location, a few minutes walk to the historic old town with plenty of free parking on the street outside the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. A great breakfast with lots of choice. Great value for money. Highly recommended.

Nice, modern building just outside the walled Town. Very clean, comfortable bed, big TV, great wifi. Breakfast is a pleasant bonus. Mercadona 5 minutes walk away for supplies. English speakers....note that a hostal is not the same thing as a hostel!!! Would recommend.

Nothing … this hotel is a little gem !!

The breakfast was continental style and served by two lovely young people . Coffee was excellent ! Our room was immaculate and pillows were comfy . The young lady on reception was very smiley and helpful . Best of all , we parked our car outside the door for free !
