The decor is overdone, overbearing and dated. There was nowhere in the room to put anything, i.e. no table or other surface that wasn't just for show or too small. Tiny bedside shelves, not enough room for a book and a drink. I wonder if anyone actually likes a jacuzzi bath? The bathroom was huge with an enormous brick archway entrance. I would have been happy with a modern walk-in shower, allowing more space for the room itself.

The situation is perfect. The car parking was convenient, free and secure. The staff were friendly, cheerful, polite and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. It was nice to have a comfortable seating end of the bedroom.

The main problem was that it said on booking .com details …. restaurant. on arrival on a Wednesday we were told it was only open at the weekend. so the man on the desk suggested other places in town . ALL of them were closed . eventually he suggested another place a drive away and I didn’t agree . I was tired and my husband had been driving all day . we said we would contact booking.com the next day . suddenly the man produced cheese, lovely ham, bread , yoghurts and a bottle of wine . All of which we were happy to pay for . I’ve never got an answer as to why he took a photo of me eating my supper ?! So please check there is somewhere to eat before you stay in this lovely hill top town !

The location was perfect, we loved our room, the view from the window and the spa bath was an added bonus. The staff/owners were very helpful and made our short stay easier so that we could get the maximum amount of exploring in during our visit

This is a really beautiful hotel! So many pieces of artwork all around and such lovely spaces everywhere you look. The room was spacious, elegant and comfortable. Don't think there was a speck of dust or dirt in the entire hotel. So incredibly clean and inviting! The owner was helpful, kind and made the best espresso for us each morning. Location is perfect for accessing the town and heading off on hikes and the nights were quiet and peaceful. I can't recommend this little gem of a hotel enough. Book it!

The hotel is well located close to the centre of the town. It provided free covered and secure parking which in view of the temperature being 31° at the time was a big bonus. The breakfast for 8 Euros is a must and was excellent.

This hotel was great! The room was nice and the view was perfect. The bath tub was a great touch but what made this place so great was the breakfast. WOW. Perfect breakfast to start your active day and some of the best coffee I've ever had. The customer service of the entire property was spot on and although they didn't have an iron, the owner offered to take my shirt to his house to Iron and bring back the next day. I couldn't be happier with my stay and will be back soon!
