The room we were originally allocated was on the first floor at the front of the building. When we returned in the evening, there was a party of people outside. Their noisy chatter was clearly audible in our room until well after midnight plus the smell of cigarette smoke. However, the staff were very helpful the following day in moving us to a different room at the back. This was the one where the bathroom door was broken.

Check in was quick and easy. There was also free parking outside. It was located in a safe and quiet part of the city. A short walk from the hotel took us to a tram stop directly into the heart of the city. There were also plenty of eating places within a short walk of the hotel. The staff were all helpful and friendly. A good breakfast was provided with tasty juice and coffee

Our windows looked at the open parking, and it was a little bit noisy in the night even when windows were closed. It was stuffy in the room and we felt the lack of ventilation.

It was a short walk to the tram and we were going to music venue and this was perfectly placed. Staff were extremely helpful and hotel was very quiet for sleeping. We went in December and the heating was on which meant our room was nice and warm

Excellent location for tram into the city. Very comfortable beds and very clean. Lovely little bar in the hotel. This place is excellent value for money at a good standard. I would definitely stay there again.

Could have supplied two extra pillows instead of 1, but I'm sure if we'd have asked staff would have provided.

Check in straightforward & the female member of staff was friendly and helpful. Spacious bedroom with comfortable bed & great hot shower. The hotel was close to tram station for getting into the centre of the City & was so cheap. Cost of parking in hotel car park very cheap, which we didn't need to use as got a free space just outside hotel.

Comfortable and clean room well located if coming from the North and handy to a shopping mall. Very helpful gentleman at reception when we arrived. Walkable to town with excellent free parking.

Staff could be more professional, more caring job what they do. Staircases of hotel were so dirty, disgusting. All property needs refurbishment, old style Ibis, sheet top had stain and they left it, it was visible straight away. Cleaning is appalling. Very dark property.
