Rooms were a little short of space- no case rack. Very mean with tea/coffee and water in the room. For the high price I would expect a bottle of water per person per night in the room as standard. we received only one bottle per person on arrival only. Only one coffee/teabag per person per night. I am sure you would be given extra on request, but don't feel you should have to ask for this.

The bar staff a bit stressy with headsets and dashing around talking into microphone like they were on a secret service mission ! Needed a bit more tranquility please ! Also , would have been good to get some service at the sun beds rather than constantly getting up looking for a member of bar staff . Also very early cleaning was a bit noisy for rooms directly off the main staircase . Just need to be careful not to keep pushing the buckets up against hard surfaces - although did appreciate the spotless rooms and hotel areas .

The outdoor pool was not heated and in early May was quite cold. The pool in the spa centre was also far too cold to relax in. The sauna and Turkish bath were not on all the time - one needs to ring reception to turn them on in advance. There were no convenient plugs beside the bed.

Comfortable, good size and layout of the apartment, well equipped kitchenette, super clean and well maintained. Polite, lovely and helpful staff, excellent English - kudos! The pool garden was a lovely oasis of palms and pines with comfy sunbeds around the pool, well placed to soak the sun up. We also enjoyed the hotel beach, comfy beds and fantastic views.Excellent restaurant and food variety of snacks and drinks at the beach terrace bar. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely return again.

We stayed in room 708 with our children. We would have appreciated a place to rest our luggage open to work from during our time there. The floor space was a bit cramped but the unit was pleasantly decorated and enjoyable.

Service was exceptional. Your location was equally wonderful. The opportunity to have fine dining in or take a stroll to boardwalk restaurants was a pleasant and much appreciated option. The guitar performance was wonderful. The gym, while small, was nicely appointed. Tennis courts could use updating but also were enjoyed. The pools looked great tho it was the weather was a little cool for us to dip in. All in all, we'll be back! Wonderful time!!!!

We could not control the air conditioning and was told to leave the windows open as the AC had been set to 23 degrees. Being in construction I know it is able to set the air conditioning to be set to be controlled independently. This spoilt our sleep as we were hot and disturbed by noisy neighbours on their balconies and road noise.

Outdoor pool not heated so pretty cold in mid-April

The breakfast was absolutely superb. Location is very scenic along the Pinewalk, about 10 minutes walk to the busier area where there are more bars/restaurants.

Our room was very dark. We’d asked for a very quiet room and it was at top of stairs, above reception on main corridor, so very noisy with other residents walking past and voices echoing from Reception. Rather disappointing.

From the moment we set foot into the reception area we felt at home and a valued guest of the hotel. The staff were the most happiest of people and nothing was ever to much for them. The facilities were on point and location was an absolute picture postcard dream. We didn’t want to leave this most beautiful location but we wait until the next time.

We rarely leave reviews, but have just returned from the most wonderful family holiday at Illa d’Or with our two young children, aged 5 and 2. The hotel is lovely - clean, stylish and minimalist. We stayed in the apartments just behind the main hotel building, which has a super pool area and are well equipped for families. The location is fantastic - a beautiful walk along the pine walk into the centre of the resort. The highlights of our stay were the lovely terrace at the front of the hotel, which is the ideal place for lunch and afternoon drinks - there is a sandpit area which is great for young children to play in whilst you relax. The other highlight was the incredible service we received from the amazing staff, who are so attentive and friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic holiday. This hotel is lovely but the team of people working there make it exceptional.
