How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Walls were a bit thin, so I could hear the neighbors, but it’s like this in big cities. No big deal.
Everything was new, very clean and excellent location. Good value for the price.

Internal soundproofing could had been better, also related with the fact that guests could be more conscious of other guests... external soundproofing was excellent as the windows are great!

1. Poor communication from the employee, Gonzalo, regarding check-in. Despite the morning arrival of my flight, I was told that I could not check in prior to 15:00 (3:00 pm) and that I could not leave my suitcase prior to that time. However, when I arrived, without any special permission, at 11:00 am, my room had been cleaned and the maid told me it was available for occupancy. The stated 15:00 check-in time is entirely unrealistic, especially since all check-in is accomplished digitally and Gonzalo's presence is not required. 2. Complicated process for the first entry requiring the download and installation of an app. The detailed instructions were not received by me from Gonzalo until after I had arrived in Spain. 3. Earplugs are provided because it is easy to hear noise from neighboring rooms. 4. Gonzalo promised English language instructions for the washer and dryer. No such instructions were provided. On the night before my departure I was unable to completely dry my clothes because the dryer repeatedly shut down every 5 minutes. Messages appeared on the dryer in Spanish that I could not understand. Strange icons were flashing on the control panel. No translation was available. 5. Air conditioning did not satisfactorily cool down the room. This will be a big problem during the summer.
1. Ten clean and comfortable rooms, of varying sizes, surround a common kitchen with a refrigerator and microwave available for sharing by the guests. 2. Convenient location, 600 meters from Nuevos Ministerios Metro and Cercanias (suburban rail) station and 600 meters from Cuatro Caminos Metro station. 3. An excellent supermarket at El Corte Ingles is nearby for food and meal purchases. 4. Good quality WiFi signal. 5, No extra charge for use of washer and dryer.

Room had no view, only facing a blank wall. Would have been good to know that there would be no housekeeping of the room during my stay.

The washing machine was turned on at 4 am and our whole room was shaking and we were totally unable to sleep.

The accommodation is clean and modern and had everything we needed. The check-in process was smooth and the communication prompt. The location was very convenient for a short stay, 5 minutes from Nuevos Ministerios metro station with easy access to the airport.

The bed is really small for two people, and too short for anyone taller. Very poor sound isolation between the rooms.

The air conditioning only worked an hour at a time and you could hardly feel it. It very much feels like a hostel, we were woken up at 2am with someone using the washing machine, it was so loud and people coming back late and cooking and eating in the kitchen area. The walls are SO thin and you can hear everything.
It is in a good location and the price is great for Porto.

A bit noisy. People having a normal conversation nearby were loud in the room. There is a quiet policy in place from 11pm, so it didn't really affect sleep The room was clean, comfortable but Torksey packed personality. It was basically a box with a bed, but the bathroom was nice.

I'd not stay here again. Walls are paper thin. Even normal conversations are heard in adjacent room. Hearing neighbor talking until 1AM disrupted our sleep.. Ear plugs provided were of little help..

The window opens to another buildings wall. Noise insulation is quite poor although I appreciate the provision of earplugs. Had to download the app to access the building the first time. No options to leave luggage. The kitchen has no chopping board and as I was cutting the bread I injured my finger. There was no first aid, no staff. Lost a lot of blood and had to find a pharmacy that opens on Sunday!
Location close to two metro stations. The room is clean.
