It was in a great location- very close walking to the Gothic Quarter, excellently situated re public transport of bus & underground. Staff extremely helpful and offered loads of good suggestions. Very modern and well decorated. Platja de la Barceloneta is a 20min bus ride away on the D20. You can also rent bikes at the hotel and use the many bike lanes to get you around.

The only minor thing I could point out is that the windows were not too sound proof in our room and we were right above the Apolo club with another club nearby which might be a problem if you're a light sleeper.

Maybe more comfortable lounge seating in the lobby for smaller groups.

We love the breakfast, free drinks in the mini bar, size of the room and bed and that there wasn’t any carpet which we have never had before which made the room feel cleaner. Style was lovely

Although on a busy central avenue, I got a quiet room (as requested) looking on to the back terrace, which made it hard to believe I was in the centre of such a big city. Breakfast was pure indulging.

Tasteless coffee in the room. Room not restocked fully each day. Room a bit atmosphere less, not a sanctuary to come back to during the day so we stayed out all day and evening each day.

Clean room, comfy bed, good shower pressure, nice surprise to have complimentary minibar with water and fruit juice. Staff were very friendly, wanting to help. Near the marina ( well, Barcelona is big! We did clock up the miles walking everywhere).

Walking distance (to the cruise shuttle). Easy to find. Centrally located with much to see within a block or two. Cute. Clean. Stylish. Great vibe. GET the breakfast—world class breakfast buffet in house (trust me, it was exceptional)

Our first room was directly over Club Apolo and so we heard the crowds leave at 5am. They kindly moved us to a different room that didn't face the street. However, the doors on the hotel rooms slam shut and so the noise of doors opening and closing at 5am was also a problem. They really need to change the door mechanisms so they don't slam. Other than that, this is an excellent hotel.

There was roller front of door. You can choose one of situation one of label like clean room or do not disturb. But it doesn’t work correctly because this roller might be rotated during day itself. Because we expect clean room but when we return the room it was same. We found note on room that they didn’t clean your room, because your label selected distrub.
