The stairway is a bit dark so maybe another light would be good.

Our hostess was lovely, very friendly and so helpful answering our questions. The breakfast was tasty and beautifully presented. The dining area is quirky and atmospheric - we liked it. The location was brilliant - lively and with so much choice of restaurants.

The hotel is in the heart of the old city. It's got real character--fun decoration and art, modern rooms and bathrooms and a friendly, helpful owner. We ate breakfast there both mornings--tortilla, fresh fruit, yogurt, cheese/ham, toast, cereal, coffee--everything you want. We'd definitely stay there again in the future.

Maybe the room could be upgraded with a full body mirror and a hanger near the door. Anyway, nothing that changes my good overall impression.

The location is perfect. The room was clean, spacious and the bed was super comfortable. I also appreciated how sound proof it was, given the lively area where it's located. We only had one small towel, so I asked the lady at the reception if she could give as one more and she was kind enough to take care of it. She was very friendly all throughout our stay. We arrived at a late hour and the check-in instructions were clear and offered well in advance.

Daniel and Hai were both really helpful in so many ways. Their positive and lovely attitudes made us feel so welcome. The hotel is well situated in the historic center and close to many tapas bars & restaurants. We walked along the river for about 20 minutes to get to the Guggenheim. I honestly can't think of anything negative about our four day stay there.

The only thing was that the walls were fairly thin, where we could hear people have breakfast in the morning, we could also hear the guests from the adjacent room. Even though at night the street is quiet, so we were fine going to sleep, in the morning we were being woken up around 7-8am by the glass bottle collections from the nearby establishments. Other than that the place was perfect.

The location was really good, right in the old town and not by any loud bars. It also felt very safe. The bed was comfortable, the wifi was good, the bathroom was clean and the shower had really good pressure. The heating was on at night, which was really good as it was quite cold in Bilbao when we visited. There was also the heating option on the A/C, so we used it whenever we needed it. The reception area had a kitchen bit where we could grab a wine bottle opener (so that came in handy!) Finally, they have the most lovely receptionist who was very cheerful and friendly. And the reception area looks lovely itself.

We received an incredibly friendly/warm welcome and were shown how to get around and key sites to visit on a map. The shared dining area where you can make yourself a tea or coffee is quirky and whimsical. This room is also used for breakfast - currently 8 euros per person (which you do not have to take). Our Superior room had a super comfortable bed and pillows with a sweet little balcony with 2 chairs and a table. We loved being right in the thick of the action with all the bars below and yet you close the balcony door and you won't hear a thing. This little place is a delight. Oh, and they have recently installed a lift so no stairs to climb with luggage.

A well-run hotel by very friendly people in an excellent location. Rooms are not enormous, but nicely decorated and well thought out. Bed was comfortable. The thick windows block out most of the street noise, which isn't that loud anyway. We felt at home here, it's not just some money-making place.
