We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaThis is a tricky one as we were travelling by bicycles and after paying we were told there was no place for storing the bicycles. Upon requesting a refund do we could book elsewhere we were told we would have to go through booking.com. They then asked on our behalf and the request was refused which made it awkward as we had to arrive with our bikes and find a way ( which we did ) to fit them in our room. It was a very unpleasant start to the stay as we couldn’t afford to lose the money that the hotel had already taken from us.
Location was fantastic. Room was small but immaculate and comfortable.

United KingdomReception isn't 24 hours so you have to pick up and drop off keys in a box if you arrive or depart through the night. edit: I left this review and the hotel decided to reply that my flights arriving and departing were due to me selecting the cheapest option, this is not the case as I was travelling for business and had set times I needed to arrive and depart the destination. Not a very professional reply to an honest review of the hotel.
Hotel Javea is extremely well situated in the port of Javea. It's a no fuss hotel with a very clean environment in the communal areas as well as the rooms. My room was quite small but it was extremely comfortable as well as clean with modern facilities.

United KingdomOur inner room was too small for 2 persons. Our sleep time was disturbed by kitchen staff and noise from an adjacent bar/restaurant, didn’t cease until 01.30am most nights. ( we do accept the fact that we required late availability due to a local wedding locally and the Hotel did allocate our room as it was simply the only one available)
Fabulous location. Friendly, helpful staff. Rooftop restaurant with views of the sea and the coastline, superb breakfast and dinner. The chamber staff were excellent.

United KingdomThe a/c was a little temperamental though it worked. There was a smell in the bathroom.
The location is second to none. The lounge comfortable. The TV had BBC1 and BBC2, which was excellent and the restaurant consistently got great reviews for the port area of Javea. Excellent breakfast. There were even two pillows, which is unusual for such a value hotel.

Location right in the heart of nice shops, lots of bars and 100m from the sea front and harbour. The restaurant on the top floor called Attica was just amazing, fantastic food and unbelievable value for money. You need to book, always full.

SpainThis is very nit-picky, but having one or two small washcloths in the bathroom along with the bigger towels would be nice. Also, the complimentary soaps and shampoos had a pleasant but very strong, almost overwhelming scent.
The staff were very eager to help. I had an interior-facing room, so the view wasn't great, but the hotel was in a lovely location, near so many great restaurants and right off the beach. It felt very cozy and clean!

The reception staff helpful and friendly. having the "Attico" above was great for an eighty eight year old with a stick.It also fitted my needs.
