Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SwitzerlandWhile very well connected, it’s noisy when windows are open. Barcelona isn’t loud in all places (but it seems to be loud in most 😎). Be prepared to also hear your neighboring occupants (and likely they will hear you, too). The property could be a little better maintained (details like cleanliness of switches, fixed sliding trash can, toilet flush, squeaky sliding parts). The kitchen is too scarcely equipped (e.g. no mugs for hot drinks).
It’s a great location at Barceló Sants station with trains, metro and busses, including hop on/off service. It is modern and offers a great space. We stayed at the 7th floor so the views were excellent, too!

United KingdomAnother host checking someone in was very rude to some other customers when they didn't know what property they were in. Should ask name to cross reference with what they have booked instead the first question was which place are you booked in. The same question was asked of us but I stated this building as I hadn't booked anywhere else and the host checking us in was lovely. It is evident that this must happen quite frequently with people checking into the wrong building if they have 4 other establishments.
Picked up keys easily but apparent that they have a few properties. Extremely well placed apartment for Sants station and modern and very clean.

Friendly, helpful and constantly smiling staff. Our room was available much earlier that we expected. BIG THANKS for the cleaning service! The location is very convenient (next to the SANTS train station - well connected with El Prat Airport T2 and 200m from Metro - Placa de Sants). Many coffeehouses nearby so we did't try breakfast offered by Cosmo. Apartment well equiped by kitchen tools but did't cook anything. Camp Nou very close!

United StatesCozy little apartment, it fit 4 of us for one night. Steps away from the Sants train station which was hugely convenient for our next trip. Very clean, it was not loud at all for us, even though the apartment was close to main roads and it has some restaurant seating accross from the building. Though it's an apartment, it felt rather like a hotel. You need to pay a 200 Euro deposit, you get a card key. Coffee, tea, salt, oil and other basics are not included in this stay, but they do sell coffee pods in their vending machine in the lobby.

We had a family vacation, the room was clean, the staff was friendly, they helped with any issues. The center is within walking distance, there is good infrastructure nearby, shops and cafes.An important factor is that there is parking.

Poland- upper bedroom has a lantern pointing directly into the window, so when you are in the bed, it shines in your eyes (room 11) - room 11 we stayed in is located on the street level so you can hear the traffic, and you need to keep the shades down for a minimum of privacy
