Calm, peace and a whole load of charm!

Keep your food away from the ants! And now you know to do this, there is nothing more to dislike!

This property has great style and charm. It is off the beaten track and whilst there is wifi don't expect a television or microwave. Only the wind, the birds and the cockerel made for any noise. Now some may not care for these things so stick to the tourist hotspots but if it's peace and relaxation you want, you'll struggle to find better!

I honestly can’t think of anything!

It was a truly unique and breathtaking location. A really peaceful and quiet location with breathtaking views across Lanzarote. It was the first time we had visited Lanzarote and have found the unusual landscape and culture of the place interesting. The area around us was unspoilt and undeveloped in terms of tourism, which is what we like, it felt like an authentic Lanzarote experience. The house itself was effortlessly simple in design but really nicely thought through with details like an integral toilet roll holder and plant growing in the bathroom, a ‘conversation pit’ next to the fire and the enormous window making the most of the view. It was at one with it’s surroundings, magically disappearing into the landscape. We appreciated the quality of the artworks and furnishings of the house along with the piano, one does not usually get this level of quality in a holiday let!

The property is very stylish and very well equipped, you will find everything you need for making a BBQ. The view is amazing, you can also observe the sunrise in the morning. The host is very welcoming and helpful. The property definitely exceeded our expectations :)

I really can't think of anything to put here. I know it's a bit cliché to say leaving was the worst part, but that sentiment is real. I wish we had more time there.

This is one of the most charming and special places we’ve ever visited. Roderick, the host, is very welcoming and has a wealth of suggestions for places to visit on Lanzarote. The house itself is very spacious and comfortable, and it’s obvious much thought and care went into every little detail (books, paintings, curiosa, and sheet music can all be found within). It’s a joy to have a grand piano to play in the evenings, and receive morning visits from the cats on the terrasse. The view from the terrasse is a dream; sunrises over the ocean, sunsets falling behind the mountains, and between them the horizon of the Haría valley and all of its lava rock vineyards. The grounds of the property are also memorable, as they are dotted with various species of cacti, and the outdoor breakfast nook is sheltered beneath an immense wreath of blooming red flowers. Though it’s off the beaten path (a plus, in my opinion), it’s only a short drive from all amenities, the Mirador del Río, and the surreal Caleón Blanco. I don’t think we’ll ever run out of glowing things to say about this place and we hope to return one day soon.

Nothing, but be prepared for a drive of a couple of kilometres along a rutted track to get there (although good directions provided).

A beautiful place to stay in an amazing location. Very private and off the beaten track, but only a short drive to the coast and places to eat. We loved the baby grand piano (I play a little), the owner’s cats, the views, the location and the sunrises. Roderick was charming and happy to hell with advice and recommendations on local restaurants and beaches.
