The hand soap in the bathroom was empty. And one morning I went to make coffee but there were lipstick marks on one of the mugs and coffee stain rings inside the other. Dish detergent and a sponge were provided though, if I wanted to wash them myself (I didn’t though).

Very good location near restaurants, bars, and the beach. I appreciate how easy checking in was and how helpful and attentive the host is. Also, the rooftop terrace is very nice.

Communication was easy, we'd ask if we could leave our bags as we were arriving early but were allowed to check in as the room was ready. You can always tell if somewhere is well run when something goes wrong, the code for our door wasn't working when we tried it before we left. This was resolved within 5 mins and so didn't impact our day at all. Situated in the old town in a lovely square with bars and restaurants, the hotel is ideally placed, but you will need to walk 5mins to get to it as taxis can't get down the tiny lanes. The room is on a split level, the outside space off the bedroom was lovely and we sat outside having lunch, reading and lounging around. The lounge area has a patio door, and there were musicians in the square so it was lovely to listen to during the day and yet it was all really quiet at night. The bed was very comfy and I was worried about the spiral staircase but actually it was a lot wider than others have seen in the past. There was a usable kitchen, and it was good to have a kettle as I don't drink coffee. There are lots of nice restaurants in the area, including a very good vegetarian one and after beefing in Spain for 2 weeks it was good to have some less rich food. It was a lovely relaxing space and there were English TV to watch, which is a bonus when you come home in the evenings. Would definitely stay here again.

This property was easy to find (walking distance from the ferry terminal at Tarifa). The hotel provided very clear instructions for accessing the building and room. The garden room had a large bedroom with a small sitting area and a very clean bathroom. Although we didn't use it, the kitchen area was very tidy and included a pod coffee machine and microwave. The bed was very comfortable

It was a bit hard to find as our gps couldn’t find where we were, but we asked some friendly locals who helped us out.

We were not used with automatic check-in. I wish they had mentioned that we will receive the codes for the doors when our check-in time is reached, we we're unnecessarily nervous about not knowing how to get in.

The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great! There are a lot of bars and restaurants around, and because it wasn't high season, it wasn't too crowded or loud. It was perfect for us coming with the ferry from Tangier in the evening, and after we checked in, just take a stroll and choose one of the restaurants in the small alleys!

The bathroom needs some renovation (paint was coming off in some places). It's an old building so there's also a lot of creaking. There was some construction work being done somewhere in the vicinity (was not communicated beforehand), so we were woken up by a lot of hammering. Not great if you were planning on sleeping in.

The room was very spacious with a high ceiling. The hotel is located in the nice old town and next to various restaurants and bars.

This is a charming hotel in the centre of town. Perfect for couples to relax and enjoy the old town but within walking distance to the town. Comfortable beds and spacious rooms including kitchenette. Wonderful

Perfect location, in old town Tarifa. An easy walk to the castle, the port and the beach. A good choice of bars and restaurants nearby. Online check in worked flawlessly, as did the coded entry system. Friendly and communicative owner. Will definitely stay here next time in Tarifa.

Kitchen facilities were a little disappointing- showing their age? Remote access system means you don’t meet anyone from the managing agents.

There is no one at the front desk. No humans to talk to other than through WhatsApp.

The room is nice and clean. It definitely had a Spanish decor. I enjoyed the Bosch coffee machine since I am a heavy coffee drinker.
