Shared bathroom versus the price point. In middle of May weather was cold and wet. Max 18c low 10c.

Martxe was a great host. Its a high end bnb without the second b. Great attention to detail. M very responsive and helpful. Location was good 15min to all the tapas restaurants in old town. Local area also nice with plenty of small bars/pubs and coffee shops close by. SS nice town worth visiting.

Maria is a wonderful host! After reading all the reviews about her and the accommodation, I knew I needed to book here! She was generous in allowing us to drop our bags early and also store them on the day of departure. She offered us a welcome drink of prosecco and also left us some wine in the bar fridge. The shared bathroom (shared with one other guest whom we never saw) is exceptionally clean at all times! There is plenty of coffee, tea, juice, drinks, snacks on offer all day. I like a very firm mattress and whilst the ones in our room were not, they weren't too soft either and I was able to sleep well! Two single beds in this room. You will definitely need earplugs (which Maria provides) if you want to sleep well at night. The room is a few floors up and looks onto a road where cars and people are often going past at night. No aircon but a small fan so we kept the door to the balcony open at night. Maria gave us lots of suggestions for Pinxchos and we tried a few of her recommended spots and found them to be our favourites! The flat is in an excellent location!

There are 2 independent guest rooms in this apartment. The bathroom is shared but this is not a problem - clean and spacious. Minibar with water and soft drinks in the room makes the welcome really warm.

Incredible attention to detail and super friendly hostess. The location is second to none with little cafes and restaurants and a beautiful church wishing few meters walk. The beach and old town are 10-15 minutes walk from the apartment. The accommodation provided everything we needed and more - toothbrushes, robes and slippers, free drinks and snacks. If we go back to San Sebastián we will definitely stay in La Casa de Maria again. Thank you 🤗

We spent 2 nights at La casa de Maria and it was excellent! The host Mertxe was absolutely delightful - she offers free soft drinks, tea, coffee, biscuits and cava to her guests as well as being super helpful! She gave us recommendations on pintxos bars and foods to order at each. The room has everything you could need including robes, beach towels and shampoo/conditioner. Everything was spotlessly clean and Mertxe even let us keep the room as long as we wanted on the day of check out as it wasn’t booked until the next morning. We would love to stay here again!

Loved our stay! Extremely comfortable room, and the beds were great! The host was fantastic. She was really lovely and accommodating. Even helped with our laundry. The place had nice little touches, stocked mini bar, welcome drinks, and breakfast snacks, beach towels, robes & slippers. If we come back to San Sebastian, we will 100% stay again! Shared bathroom was very clean & shower had good pressure. View from the balcony was great aswell.

Amazing location. The host, Mertxe, created such a warm and friendly environment for us. We forgot a couple of things when we left snd Mertxe was kind enough to mail them to our next stop. The place was always immaculately clean and we loved the location too! Definitely recommend.

It can be noisy on the streets at nights, but I slept with the balcony doors open to get fresh air. But I slept through it with ear plugs.

Amazing place to stay in San Sebastián! Maria is an amazing host, makes you feel very welcome at her house. The place is incredibly clean! Also, there are several extra's to use as coffee, tea, free water bottles and snacks. The room has everything you need and the beds are very comfy. And the location is perfect! I would definitely come back.

For budget accommodation it was extremely good - very clean and everything you could think of was attended to. Personal products, bar fridge, extra towels, extra water, small iron, robes and slippers, incredibly nice welcoming host. Little Juliet balcony to let air and light in - little table and chairs out there. Lift to third floor, good lighting. Sharing facilities was absolutely no problem. Never actually saw anyone near or in there. Glass of bubbles on arrival was a nice touch. Lots of fantastic restaurants close by in little streets around establishment.

We had a fantastic stay at La Casa De Maria and the host Mertxe was incredibly firendly and helpsome. The room was nice and clean and it included slippers, bathrobes, beach towles to borrow while there. Complementary drinks and snacks where also included. The bathroom and shower is only shared with one other room and it was at all times clean and delicate. The location is very nice with about 10 minutes walk to the the old town and the beach.

I was a little bit worried about using espresso machine in the morning. The machine makes a noise and so it might make other residents wake up. I hope there were no complaints.

The owner of B&B is so kind and excellent. She cannot speak English, but you don’t need worry about it! We communicate with technology(what’sup & translator)😊 it’s interesting experience. I have to say the location is great. I moved from Bilbao to San Sebastián by bus. This B&B is around 10 minutes walk from the bus station, and we can walk around San Sebastián city easily. No big breakfast but don’t worry. We could enjoy hot drink and treats. Strongly recommend!

Bathroom was outside the room, but please note that we were aware of that when doing reservation. The price-to-standard ratio (because of the bathroom outside the room) is not good.

Appartment is located in a very nice area. Close to the train station and city centre but in the same time on the silent street without noisy restaurants. We have loved the view from our tiny balcony. Room has been equiped perfectly, we even got bathrobes! The host was extremely nice and helpful. We even got some helpful tips about local events on Whatsapp during our day in the city.

Maria was such a nice host!! In our room was everything we needed for a short stay including beach towels! She also provides free drinks and some cereals, cookies and coffee. Would 100% go there again!
