We were alone on the property during the night. We were even given the keys to the place to lock once we went away, instructing us to leave the key in the other hotel they have on the opposite side of the town. This latter place was much better than where we stayed. We wondered why we were not offered to stay there, even if the cost was higher.

    There was no breakfast.

We reserved a room for three. It had three beds but very cramped. Was really the size of a double. Room was a walk from the rest of the property. We found the 7:00 meal was booked so we would have to wait till 8:00 pm. Too late for us!

This is a modern property that serves as a vacation setting as well as a place for pilgrims. Has many features such as a spa, pool, etc. the breakfast buffet was good.

Difficult to find. Have to check in at albergue 1km through town then walk back. FYI it was a brutal day of walking to get to El Acebo. Upstairs above a restaurant. Nevertheless it was comfortable.

    Restaurant food was exceptional!

I wish our room had a clean toilet. Also, they did not have air conditioning.

The location was great, right there on the way into town. We had dinner there and it was delicious. The room my daughter and I had had a dirty toilet so that was not good. My husband and son's room was right across the hall and their room was clean. My husband and daughter walked up to their other property and used the swimming pool. That is also where we had breakfast in the morning. The breakfast was nice because it started at 6:30- a little earlier that usual on the Camino. The breakfast was a buffet with coffee, juice, cakes, toast, ham and cheese.

The private bathroom next to the room was having water issues and not functional. We had to use one bathroom in the adjacent wing. The one we could use was functional except the shower fixture that holds the water spray was broken .

Had food service available in the morning. Room was clean.

location was good but a very small town with out many options for food and or coffees the location we stayed in closed at 8 pm if you wanted anything after this you needed to walk to their other location 600 meters away Wi-Fi was good but needed to wait some time for hot water as this was the most expensive stay so far on the Camino was a little disappointed

Had to walk 400m to their other place in the village for dinner and breakfast. They had terrible bread for breakfast (white plastic stuff).

My room had a little balcony where I could watch others pass by. Lunch was really fantastic. The staff were sooo busy, yet very kind and helpful.

Note there appear to be two establishments sharing the same name, the old upper one (which we enjoyed) serving as a feeder for the far larger one 400m further down the hill (which is modern, soulless, and more expensive). So no food in our place, or breakfast, which requires long walk (maybe in rain) and back again.

Large room with great hot shower, lovely old stone building so very quiet.

Overpowering floral scent; I had to unplug them all and put them on the balcony. (This is one of my pet peeves. It may not trouble others.) It was not clear to me when I was booking that this was not a private room in the albergue, which is about 1/2 km down the road, and is where the spa is, and where they serve dinner and breakfast (not included in price). It's part of the same ownership and has a similar name, but is a hostal, not an albergue. I ended up like this place a lot, but had thought I was reserving for the albergue.

Huge room with a small balcony overlooking the village (hamlet?). Bathroom also big. Was hungry when I arrived at 4 and they made me a fabulous sandwich with ham and vegetables in it (very seldom get the vegetables). They spoke English, which was helpful for me. Someone helped me up to my room with my bags, which I seldom experienced during my entire three-week long trip. Great for the price.

Reserve at the ALBERGUE! This building is an overflow and way far from where there is dinner and breakfast. Luckily, the staff was kind enough to move my reservation, but that was only possible due to the off season. ALSO, the pool, spa, and sauna were all closed with no explanation or apology.

The Mountain views were delightful. Great menu of the day with lots of options and beautiful space to gather.

as we arrived the place was closing and the staff wanted to get away, believing there to be a restaurant/ breakfast facility in the hotel, was told we had to walk 1/2 mile down the hill to sister hotel for both evening meal and breakfast, after a very long day walking on the Camino not great! ( the meal and breakfast was good when we walked there)

Their operations were split with a facility 500 meters down the hill. This made it inconvenient to eat breakfast and dinner. Also, the bathroom in the room had an odor.
