Nothing really, but if we have to pick something.. the pool was dirty so not really welcoming to use it (it was windy so it’s understandable) Some areas around the accommodation need refurbishing- maintenance like walls or shower glass panels. The bed mattress was moving as it was bigger than the support but it was comfortable enough to sleep. Sharing spaces in the fridge it has a risk, our bottle of wine disappeared but maybe someone needed more than us (not a big issue).

Josemari is the perfect host - what a lovely guy! Ultra helpful and very attentive to his guests. Location fabulous for exploring the Island as Tias is centrally located. I hired a car but there is a supermarket 6 minutes walk away and bus stops are very close to the property for those on foot. Kitchen area is ideal with coffee and tea making facilities along with a toaster and microwave. What a lovely rural property with good sized rooms and private bathrooms and uber comfy bed. The pool area is perfect if you want to relax. I had a wonderful stay - I will return for sure!

Jose Mari is a great host, he recommended attractions and restaurants. This traditional house has excellent location, center of the island - you can reach all the attraction less than 30 minutes by car. We had big room, very comfortable bed, with bathroom and the possibility to use the kitchen what is fully equipped. The price does not include breakfast, but the house provides cereals, coffee, tea and cookies for free. We would definitely recommend it

Beahtiful traditional home, almost 120 years old but still very clean and comfortable. The host, Josemari is very nice and helpful. Location is great, you can reach everything on the island within 30 minutes with a car. You get coffee and some snacks which is really nice. We recommend 10/10.

Josemari is a great host - he contacted me proactively via WhatsApp prior to my arrival. Upon arrival he greeted me personally and has shown me everything in the house. It's a traditional village house with altogether 4 guest rooms, so you definitely have your privacy. It has an inner courtyard and a backyard with a small pool. In the kitchen every room has a separate shelf in the fridge, and you are offerred free coffee/tea and cookies throughout your stay. The room was really nice with traditional furnitures and a high ceiling, I really liked staying there. The shutters made sure that you coud make the room dark for the night. The road which connects Tias to Playa del Carmen was absolutely not disturbing. The house is located at the edge of the village and this way there is a great view towards the ocean and Arrecife when you stay in front of the house. There is ample roadside parking on the street, so parking is not an issue at all. Josemari was also very flexible with the check out time, he mentioned to me proactively that the room is not booked for the next night, so I can stay as long as I wish in the afternoon. I did not use this opportunity as I had a rental car and could put all my belongings in it, but it was a very nice gesture. As the accomodation is in the middle of the island, you can reach every place in Lanzarote within half an hour by car. I am definitely going to book my stay again in this place when I return to Lanzarote.

Nothing to say, good value for money

Very quiet and convenient location to spend some days in Lanzarote. Located in Tias, it is in a good location to explore the island by car from here. Also, the owner is kind and attentive. There is a common kitchen and dining area that can be used for breakfast and a light dining. There is coffee/tea and water available for guests. Room and bathroom was spacious.

Best place in Lanzarote. Amazing rural property, quiet, little swimming pool great add on. Jose Mari the owner is so helpful and kind, I think we found a friend. Open minded, like an uncle for us, a very nice person, he helped us on everything during our 10 days staying. Coffee and some little treats included in the morning.

There was no negative point really.

We went as a couple and booked the room last minute for a couple of nights. We were finally impressed so we stayed longer! The place is an old farm house converted into various guest rooms including a common kitchen, central yard, swimming pool, your own breakfast table.. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, microwave, dishes, coffee machines etc. There is no daily breakfast per se but the house provides cereals, coffee and bakery stuff for free that you can grab any time. It is right on a road but we could not hear the cars (room at the back). In front of the house's entrance there is no construction and you can see into the horizon and the ocean. Our room was very big and spacious, there were tables, chairs, hangers, shelves, a sofa to organize our things on, and the bathroom was also very big and comfortable. There was hot water any time, towels and shower gel/shampoo provided. The bed was pretty big too. The communication with Jose Marí was fluent, he was answering any time to our messages and the days we met him we enjoyed his presence. And of course you can come and go whenever you please, enjoy the sun on the various chaise longs, do barbecue if you fancy..WiFi was working well in our room. Tias is a very good location to stay in and convenient for any excursions (many sights are at 20min drive). The village has quite some options for breakfast, lunch and dinner (maybe more than we could see altogether in other places), a kind of local super market where you can buy also in bulk, a gas station, first aid center, a great teleclub... Overall a great stay, we really felt like being on vacation but with good commodities and we would definitely recommend it!!!

Some of the room facilities left a bit to be desired. The mattress was usable but not comfortable. The shower hose was a piece of hose pipe which I had to reattach several times and the bedside lamp had a loose wire. I told the host about this but he wasn't bothered about repairing it.

Nothing to complain about.

This is a great budget friendly place to stay. It has everything you might need - comfy bed, good shower, swimming pool and well equipped kitchen. The location is very centric and within walking distance to bars and supermarket. Josemari was a lovely host. We liked it a lot and would definitely stay again if we come back to Lanzarote.
