A lack of restaurants within walking distance

Superb breakfast,plentiful and freshly cooked,wonderfully clean and fresh throughout, beautifully decorated, wonderfully friendly staff nothing is too much trouble,totally unspoilt area of northern Spain, fantastic beaches, good walking and cultural sites to see.

The place was fantastic, the room really big with amazing views, super clean and the staff was super friendly and helpful. They upgrade us to a larger room so we could be more comfortable as we were travelling with two children and two dogs. Breakfast delicious and great value. We will book again no doubt. Thanks!

It was all great, just a minor thing is that it’s a bit noisy in the morning - as the breakfast room is right below the rooms, same for the stairs.

The hosts are super welcoming, and breakfast is great - you really feel like you’re being hosted by a family.

Everything was great

The house is located in a nice, quiet and peaceful village. It is 10 minutes from the beautiful beach surrounded by cliffs. The sparkling clean rooms are new, nice and comfortable. There is a large dining room overlooking the garden. You can make coffee and tea, make toast and use the microwave. The hostess is very helpful, kind and open. Jolanda is the most wonderful hostess I have ever met.

nothing not to like.

Yolanda was friendly and welcoming,although we do not speak Spanish this was not a problem as she is so patient and friendly.We were offered a drink on arrival. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, we have stayed here several times and this has always been so.Plenty of hot water,shampoo/bodywash and soap supplied, with soft towels.Room a good size, beautifully decorated, warm and very comfortable.Breakfast was outstanding,hot and cold dishes perfectly cooked and presented.Wi-Fi excellent. We will definitely stay here again, we travel with our cat which makes this pet friendly property a perfect choice.

It was nice to sit under the tree in the garden and looking over the hills. Our room had a terrace door to the garden, which was nice. The owner was really friendly even though we cannot speak Spanish. We enjoyed our stay.

There is a tavern about 8 minutes walk. However, the meal the owner prepared was more than adequate. I would encourage you to stop at a market on the way and pick up whatever extra things you may want as there is no market anywhere near the facility.

The facility is brand new. The rooms were large and comfortable with spectacular views of the valley. The owner prepared a delicious dinner for us and a great breakfast. If you’re doing the Camino Norte, the facility is a little off the path but it took us less than 30 minutes to get back on the Camino in the morning. Well worth the small detour.

Breakfast very expensive, 10.50 euros by person. Honestly exagerated price. Take care and request clarification before sit down. 3 cofee with toast and 1 chocolate milk with cake, 42 euros. Not value for money. Feel sad, place is OK.

warm welcome from the owner, comfort and cleanliness outstanding, strict adherence to covid precautions, owner couldnt be more accommodating, especially providing a delicious evening meal even though we had not per-booked this. breakfast superb. this was our second time of staying and wont be our last as we would like to spend some time exploring the area.
