No kettle. Ideally we would have liked a kettle and two cups in the room, but great value bar on pedestrian road just outside hotel/pension. Rooms on the front may be noisy due to people in street outside/ drinking in the bars, but we were at the back in a 'deluxe' room, so this did not affect us.

Great location in old town, about 20mins walk along the river from the Guggenheim. Good value quite basic room, but everything worked as expected. Room attended every day. Towels were provided free (some Booking.com info suggests extra charge for towels but this was not the case)

The room was very noisy (luckily I had ear plugs) and the receptionist couldn't speak any English.

The location is central (if you're staying in the old town). You're surrounded by many good food spots, including the food hall. There's also enough possibility to find a local bakery in the neighborhood for breakfast. The metro is also nearby.

Room window leading just to the wall so you basically couldn't see anything outside. Not all staff was able to speak English but we managed it :D

Easy access to the building and to the room without keys, just using keypad locks. Very nice smelling free toiletries. The staff helped us to print out our boarding passes. Located in the centre of Bilbao, very close to the underground station.

Staff is very helpful. What you see is what you get. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Also, location of hotel is perfect to experience the Casco Viejo.

Location couldn't be much better. The Casco Viejo area is full of pintxos bars and ideal for a couple of hours visiting as many as you can. Bilbao is close to the Rioja wine region and so the bars have excellent wine as well as food. The hotel is right in the middle of it and there are a number of excellent bars just outside of the front door (don't worry, the rooms are very quiet). I liked the fact that entry to the hotel and rooms is via a code so no carrying keys around.

The room was a bit stuffy, but there was a fan. A huge window could be opened onto a small balcony, but I couldn't keep the door open due to street noise (due to excellent location!).

Lack of soundproofing. We kept being wakened up by people opening their doors, taking a shower, talking. This was an old building transformed into a lodging, with no elevator, and some lights wouldn't work in our room if another random switch wasn't in a particular position.

I had to move on the first day because the toilet was broken and I was put in a room with no natural light (my first room had a street view). But the room was otherwise very comfortable.

The location is great - right in the old city - so it is an easy walk to restaurants and sights. It is also in an older building, so that was fun. My room faced the street and had a small balcony. There is street noise, but I sleep with earplugs - so not an issue. You also have a code to get in and out so you can come and go as you please.
