Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Poland- None, for me everything was good, the only thing which wasn't crucial for me, but might be important for other travelers is WI-FI. I couldn't connect to it (unsure what was wrong, low signal (it might work only in a common area), or I just wrote incorrect password), but we had mobile internet so there was no problem for us with this.
- Everything was good, instructions to enter the premises were clear. - Very good contact with the owner. - Clean and tidy apartment with a very comfortable bed - In the apartment, there was everything you need - Perfect location to go to any destination within the island - There was a bottle of wine and water provided upon arrival

IrelandA unique lovingly restored property in the North of the island. One of four apartments on the same site, and two of these have more privacy than others. We stayed in one of these - the one bedroom apartment upstairs. There is a hot tub on site which we used after a day walking the Camino Natural from Maguez to Orzola (c.20km). This is a walk primarily off road, through vineyards and open countryside with spectacular views. There is a pub/cafe across the road from the property which closes early in February @6pm. We could not find a shop in this small town but there are several in nearby Haria. Access to the property was easy once we followed the helpful pictorial instructions from the owners.

I loved my stay at La Molina, I felt right at home as soon as I arrived. The location was fantastic, close to main amenities (e.g. supermarket, a local restaurant) and the surroundings were beautiful. It's also a short drive away to Punta Mujeres and to Orzay (if you want to visit La Graciosa - those were my highlights of the trip) The hosts were very attentive and super helpful and they also gave me the space and privacy to enjoy my holiday.

SloveniaSqueaking bed and bad WiFi reception.
Cozy apartment in old Italian style with all the gears needed. It's a peaceful village with only a few streets, some pathways are located in a close proximity. A bar is available just around the corner.

ItalyThe flat is spacious, bright and comfortable in all its features and commodity. Its location is outstanding if you're after a Cesar Manrique Tour as the main tour sites are near La Molina. The hosts are always looking after yourself and very kind on the welcoming package (a good bottle of wine)! So I can't say anything more other than please enjoy La Molina if you're passing by, you won't regret it

SpainWifi connection is not working in the apartment. (It works close to the area of the jacuzzi outside) It is something we knew before as I had seen it written in various comments - but maybe it is something that could be improved in the future.
It is a very nice, small apartement which is great for a few days. We also enjoyed the private terrace as well as the shared Jacuzzi and BBQ. The location is also great and there is even a restaurant right across the street. Communication with the Owners was via whatsapp and they asked various times if we needed anything and cared very nicely from a distance for us (which is also perfect in corona-times). Loved the fact that they are pet-friendly and would definitely recommend La Molina to any couple who wishes to be located in the north of Lanzarote.

United KingdomLovely studio apartment with a lot of character and its own private enclosed garden. The cleanliness was superb. There is a bus stop almost outside the front door, while the nearby bar/restaurant was excellent. I stayed during December and found the apartment cold: I had to run the (very small) fan heater provided almost continually during the day when I was present. The WiFi signal is essentially non-existent indoors and, for much of my stay (when I was competing with other residents), it was poor outside too, in the courtyard area. The nearby bar has very good WiFi, so it's difficult to see why La Molina cannot manage the same.

La Molina is an extraordinary place which i can wholeheartly recomend! The Location, the helpful owner, the Whirlpool and most of all the Building itself is absutely perfect. In my opinion it is very good value for money. I stayed there with my Family (two children, 5 and 1 year old). The Restaurant right across the street is also very good. You'll need a car If you stay here (which you absolutely should).

South KoreaThe house we stayed was right over the communal jacuzzi , which means you'll hear every single word people say from there. It's also because the kitchen area is not fully covered by walls (it's not fully closed). And I believe the weather is always sunny in Lanzarote and will produce enough power from sunlight for most of time, however, when we visited it was cloudy and couldn't get enough hot water. The hot water completely stopped after a couple of minutes running. Overall the stay was not the best.
You can use communal jacuzzi for free
