How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Room cold (no heating just a/c) restaurant not open in evening.
Big room and bathroom. Friendly staff. Nice tapas. Easy parking and nice eating area.

No complaints, but Booking.com could make it clearer that the restaurant closes in the evening.
We loved the location, perfect for heading through Spain. The hotel was exactly as we expected, simple, with plenty of parking, large clean rooms. The staff were all really helpful. The tapas in the bar were delicious and great value. The tortilla was the best we had tasted on our trip. It felt like real Spain, the restaurant closed at 16:00, but it didn't matter. There was also a selection of regional produce to buy as well.

The front desk to check in was with the 24 hour restaurant in front.
Very clean and spacious rooms, friendly staff and good heat and air conditioning.

Not a scenic stay.
Very convenient location, very clean and really good value for money. Very helpful and friendly staff. Not luxury but clean and practical with good ac and towels of a decent size. Just right for overnight stay on route from Santander.

Value for money, as we only wanted a pit stop on the route south. Basically a truck stop hotel, but the room was very clean and comfortable. We ate in the bar as it was Sunday and the restaurant only opened for lunch that day. Food good, and some of the best croquettes I’ve tasted. It’s worth stopping just for them!

Nothing really, we knew what to expect having stopped here once before, shame they no longer allow pets though.
This is a great cheap and cheerful stop off when travelling up or down Spain. No luxuries it's really a truckers stop however if you want a meal and a good night's kip then this is great. Staff friendly enough. Please do not expect any luxuries!

The stuff was very friendly and helpful. Spacious clean room, really comfy bed and pillows, heating, TV, nice bathroom. Quiet. Free parking (even for bigger cars/trucks). Very warm atmosphere and we really liked a fireplace in the restaurant. Ideal for one night stay on the road. People complaining about restaurant closed at night (you do understand, that no kitchen is opened 24 hours??) and noise (if you don't tell it to the staff they don't know they have to help you!!) and kettles (really?!) MAYBE YOU SHOULD BOOK A 5 STAR HOTEL INSTEAD AND PAY TWICE THE PRICE? Before booking, make sure you know the difference between a budget hotel and a luxury 5 star hotel!! You CAN have a dinner at any time, so you won't stay hungry or thirsty, but don't expect a chief to be at your disposal all night long... For this budget this hotel is just perfect to stay! I totally recommend and would stay there once again.

for my wife english translation on menu would be helpful
ideal place to stay when traveling north to south are other way round as situated on A4 but shielded from traffic noise and hotel and cafe open 24/7 and during winter have a large wood fire to sit near. Rooms are nice and spacious with good sized bathrooms with a bath and beds very comfortable.
