César, the host is incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was fantastic: nicely decorated and spacious. The bathroom was nice, too. The kitchen was well equipped. I loved everything about the house.

The temperature was colder than usual for the time of year and the heating wasn't turned on. The village of Grimaldo was very, very small.so it was a bit remote for us but that isn't the fault of the Posada.

Cesar met us on arrival and was very friendly and helpful. He gave us lots of information about the area and told us about a new Via Verde which had opened between Pasencia and Bejar. We were able to store our bikes in the garden area. The room was large with plenty of space to store our things and the bathroom was lovely. There is a kitchen which guests can use and a self service breakfast is provided with bread, cakes, fruit and hot drinks. You can also have hot drinks at other times.

There was only a communal TV but perhaps that helps people to mingle.

The welcome by the host was extremely warm and friendly. The Posada had a touch of class about it. I was given a choice of the Lorca room or the Picasso room which tells you the ambience was very arty.

Not a thing

Really warm welcome, plenty of parking, peaceful, comfortable bed, decent breakfast. What's not to like? Would recommend this Posada to anyone travelling in the area.

The owner was very hospitable. The home was an archectures dream. Clean. Had extra food. Delicious cookies made by his dad. Easy to find. Good place to park bikes. Warm. Cozy.

Warm and enthusiastic welcome despite being very muddy from mountain biking. Fabulous themed room (picasso). Very comfortable bed and spacious room. Large shower. Secure bike storage in a locked walled garden and bike washing facility. Self service breakfast was excellent with coffee machine, fresh orange juice and fresh toast. An exceptional stay - the best so far out of 16 nights on the Camino and bike trails. Thank you.

Wish we had organised to stay longer.

What a fabulous find ! A tastefully renovated 18th century water-mill. Great location for exploring all of the incredible sites in the area. Our host was knowledgeable & generous with his time. His recommendations were sensational ! Don’t miss this little gem !

It was all very very good. Nothing to dislike.

What a wow place. Well signed, beautifully designed and thought about, fabulous accommodation (in a tiny village). The host had thought about everything to make visitors welcome and comfortable. Breakfast was provided for us to make ourselves in a small shared kitchen, which was a lovely touch, even a fridge full of oranges for us to make fresh orange juice. Great value for money too. What a great stay, fully deserves the highest score and you can see why people give it top marks!

We think a hand rail for stepping out of the shower would be a very good idea as the floor gets rather slippery when wet.

The apartment had been beautifully created by the owner and was all very pleasing.

Absolutely nothing!

Cesar, our host, was brilliant! We had everything we needed in this amazing place. Beautifully laid out accommodation, spacious, comfortable, clean....and everything we needed to make a great breakfast to boot! The bedrooms are big, super comfy beds and en suite and the kitchen/seating area just perfect. There is a lovely garden outside too.

we didn’t have to share the communal area(kitchen dining room). As two females we didn’t know how it would feel if other people were there.

The property was beautiful and very well appointed. Everything had been considered and was particularly nice to have a large kitchen for teas and coffees etc. All of which were provided. The owners were very warm and welcoming. The bar, a few metres away, was very reasonable and friendly.

Beautifully renovated building with comfortable rooms. The host Cesar is very welcoming (it's nice to see a real person to check in nowadays) and he gave us very useful information for our biking trip. There is a cute garden and a fully equipped kitchen. The rooms are creative and with attention to artistic details. The breakfast is self service what is practical to go when you want in the morning- the best part was the fresh orange juice. The location is right on the via de la plata /eurovelo.
